Their 25 years old.
Still fighting crime like the good old days protecting the earth from the baddies, it had been ten years since Spider-Man first appeared, ten years since the accords.

But it had been nine years since they promised them selves to one another.

He helped run Star Industries along side her as they dominated the world as a pair nothing coming between the two.

The one thing they had always spoken about when growing up was having their own family, when younger they would pretend that Blair's cat was their baby and they were it's parents every time Peter went over to her house after the first week of knowing each other.

Never would either of them have even dreamed that they'd actually be standing where they were today with one another by their side as they went head first into the harsh and hostile world.

Blair stood watching out of the window of the newly refurbished Avengers Tower her father had built all those years ago.

She watched as the night light danced through the room of the lounge that was now empty of the other Avengers besides her as she waited up for the one person who meant the world to her. Peter had gone out on patrol as he did every night since the day he got his powers, she asked him why after so long did he still want to go out into the world when he could be resting safe and sound at home with her and their dysfunctional superhero family.

She looked down at the ring that she wore on her ring finger smiling at the memory of Peter placing it on her hand but two years ago. Their lives had been so unpredictable that for that one moment it felt like the pair had finally gained some control over their lives after so long.

"And all her face was honey to my mouth,
And all her body pasture to mine eyes;
The long lithe arms and hotter hands than fire
The quivering flanks, hair smelling of the south,
The bright light feet, the splendid supple thighs
And glittering eyelids of my soul's desire." A voice spoke out telling her the end of one of the poems she studied whilst at school, yet grew to find it enduring when ever Peter read it to her.

She replied softly with "do you think it's a coincidence that falling asleep and falling in love both start with falling and end with you?" Slowly turning she saw the red and blue superhero standing before her, his mask in his hand as he watched her lovingly curious as to why she had not gone to bed like everyone else.

"I needed to talk to you but you were out on patrol so I waited up for you" she smiled at her husband as he moved forward to enclose her in his arms holding her close to his body face buried in her luscious raven locks. "Your cold though" he whined sounding as childish as always, even though they had grown older since the days of civil war between her father and Steve neither one lost their unique personality that made them into the same people that they were now.
