Michelle's POV
"2 more pages." I thought to myself as I scribbled down more words on the paper. College papers are the worse. 8 page essay about the Water in California. Boring. I checked my phone looking for any messages from Justin.
None.
Justin's been on tour for about 1 month and a half now. We usually make sure to call and facetime as much as we can. He always calls me before and after his show. He calls me his good luck charm. I stretch out my arms as I stare blankly at the paper. I guess I could take a break. Standing from my chair at my desk, I scurry down the hall towards Melissa's room. I can hear music blasting meaning shes practicing her cheer routine. Again. I gently twist the knob and silently open the door to see my sister working her magic. When I tell you that she can dance. I mean JUST THAT.
I smile to myself as I watch in admiration. I'm so proud of her. I don't want to ruin her focus so I twist the knob and close the door as quietly as I can. A big empty house with nothing to do. My parents aren't home, Melissa is busy, Justin is busy, and I need friends. I decide to go out and grab some coffee from Starbucks before I finish this paper. I head back to my room and grab my phone, checking it once more before heading out.
Still Nothing.
"Great." I speak to no one in particular.
I grab my blue jean jacket and throw on my all black Ugg boots before racing downstairs and yanking my keys off the counter top. I make sure to reset the alarm as I close the door behind me. I strut my way to my car and unlock the door, taking a seat in the driver side. I put the keys in the ignition and pull out of my driveway heading down the street. Starbucks is only about 3 blocks so it shouldn't take me too long. As I pull up to a red light, I hear a familiar voice singing in the car next to me. I turn my head out of curiosity and its a bunch of teenage girls playing Justin's old songs. I smile at the thought and roll my window up a bit so they don't recognize me. Justin has a habit of posting photos of us on his Instagram and there have been a few times where I've been approached by a couple of his fans while I'm out in public. I'm not too into the public lifestyle and Justin respects that. He knows its going to take some time getting used too and he is extremely supportive.
Once I arrived at Starbucks I once more checked my phone for any calls or texts. I still had none. I decided I would call him. If he isn't performing one of his assistants will usually answer.
I click on Justins name in my phone and proceed to dial the number.
"Hey you've reached Justin, Sorry I missed your call but if you leave...."
I hung up. He is so busy its crazy."How may I help you?"
I looked up and realized I was next in line. I answered the brown haired boy with a smile.
"May I have a Java Chip Frappuccino please? Light on the whip cream and you can make that a Grande."
He smiled back at me.
"I love customers like you", he flashed me his perfect white teeth, "Know exactly what they want before I have to even ask. Makes my day go by much smoother."
"Oh I used to work fast food so I totally understand." I laughed out loud.
"The one thing you didn't tell me was your name for the order though. But let me guess. With a face like that it'd have to be something beautiful, like ANGEL right?"
I unconsciously rolled my eyes not letting my face show any emotion.
"Yes. How did you know?" I said sarcastically.
