Hello Internet,
My name is Valarie Vargas and this is my story. I have decided to create this blog just to talk about my family and the daily struggle of being terminally ill. I was diagnosed with cancer about three years ago. It was the worst news of my life. Just when everything seemed to be going great everything came crashing down...
I have been in and out of the hospital more times then I can count. I've also had a few surgeries done. Well enough about me for now.
I have a wonderful husband named Thomas. He's an actuary. He basically analyzes insurance claims all day. He's really in love with his job. So if he's happy I'm happy. We got married when we were 23 and have been in love ever since. A few years after we married we had a beautiful daughter named Rose Ivory Vargas. Rose for short. She is the most intelligent five year old that you can meet. She's always asking the most important questions and is extremely well behaved which is really nice nowadays.
I used to teach at Rose's old preschool until I was diagnosed with skin cancer. Nowadays I just sit on the couch all day waiting for Rose to get home from school and we do something fun.... And that's why I decided to come up with this blog. It gives me something to do other than watch the same cooking episode over and over again.
Well we will see how this goes. I'm not sure how often I'll post blog entries. So long for now.
