"Rose are you ready for school?" I yelled through the living room. Rose hops down the stairs and sits on the sofa.
"Good morning sweetie!"
"Good morning! What's for breakfast?" Little rose asked.
"How does pancakes sound?" I jump up from my chair and start pulling out the pan from the cabinet. "Rose can you..."
"Good morning sweet heart!" Thomas walks in with his brief case and gives me a kiss on the cheek.
"Eww!" Rose laughed
"So I'm going to be taking Rose to school early this morning. Something happened at work and I need to be there." Thomas goes and grabs his coat then goes grabs Rose's backpack. "Ready to go princess?"
She jumps up from the couch and runs to her bag. "Bye momma!" Then they run out the door.
Then there was one. Now what? Maybe I should go check out my blog. I walk over to the counter and grab the laptop off of the charger. "Ten emails from my doctor? Weird" I open them up and it says that I need to come in and see him for a checkup. I wonder why he didn't call me. Alright so let's go look at this blog thing and see what's going on.4 replies

jumpingkip: please do more blog posts!
PFfamily: This is Rebecca, Emilie's mother. You taught her before little Rose was born. I had no idea that's why you left! I loved your teaching style. I hope all is well now.
- xx RebeccaWow I'm actually surprised I got so much feed back. I wasn't expecting any messages. Maybe I'll just have to answer them in my next blog post. Actually.....
RE: @botpox2: WHAT kind of username is that? Rose has a very special meaning to Thomas and I. Each letter means something that Thomas and I have lived by. We thought it was a better name than Sore.

*key turns and door clicks open*"Valarie?" A familiar voice says
"Yes? Thomas? What are you doing home so early?" I say
"You didn't pick up Rose from the bus so the school called me. I need to get back to work so can you please stay awake to watch her?"
"Yes of course...." I give him a hug and close the door as he walks out
"So mommy what are we doing to do today?" Rose says
"I don't know what do you feel like doing?"
"Let's go to the park!" Rose jumps up and down then runs outside to grab her scooter.
"Wait Rose! You need a jacket! It's too cold outside."
"But mommy it's super sunny out. It's really hot. It's probably 80 degrees." Rose puts on her helmet then starts walking down the street.
80 degrees? I pull out my phone and she was right... well sort of. It was in the high 70's. I close the door then run down the street to catch up with her.
"Mommy chase after me!" Rose laughs and hops on her scooter and stars going in circles.
Let me tell you this kid is fast but is no match for me. I start running after her all the way to the park. "Woah Rose slow down." I yell down the street.
"Mommy are you ok?" Rose asks. She looks really scared.
"Yeah of course why....." as soon as I said it I felt it. Blood rushing down my nose. I pull out some tissues to help stop the bleeding.
"Why don't you go play Rose?" A friendly yet concerned voice said. Rose puts down her scooter and goes to play on the play structure.
"Is everything alright Valarie?""Yes. I'm good. Thank you for asking. Just a little bloody nose that's it." I grab some more tissues and put them around my nose and look over to see who I'm talking to. It's Jane. My neighborhood best friend. She's been with me through it all.
"You don't think the cancer came back now do you?" Jane asks."I'm alright." I grab the tissues out of my nose and throw them in the trash.
