The clock onrushed twelve,
My heart thought I'll shelve.
This couldn't get any better, my intuition whispered
Perplexed much, his name, my beats authored.
Accustomed were the conversations,
But antithetical were the sensations.
I was undoubtedly aghast
Even if it's true, will it everlast?
Tears were rolling down my eyes,
Who knew he'll be a blessing in disguise.
"What if I say I like you", uttered a pleasant voice
Hoping to have my affirmative choice
Souls were already coupled
But words babbled
"It's mutual",I finally muttered
As my mind wasn't monitored.
That night wasn't communal
In my poems he was always addressable
An unpredicted tale initiated
Forever it lasts was anticipated
From concealed eyes you see,
You and me have become we.©priyatiru_
