Juliet's POV

Truthfully I was very, very scared of what was going to happen. And who is this guy anyway to kidnapped Riccio?! How does he even know our names?!

All he left were his initials and three X's and I don't think those were 'kisses.'

Scipio called Ida and told her what had happened. We decided to go over there and spend the night with them.

"I'm just so worried about Riccio," Ida says when we are all seated in the living room talking.

"Riccio will be fine I'm sure, we all know how feisty he is," Hornet says.

"That could also be a bad thing," Scipio points out.

"What I'm worried about is what if he gets a hold of Juliet," Prosper says looking at me.

"I'm not letting anything happen to her, and that's a promise," Scipio says taking my hand in his.

"Well, let's all settle this in the morning, I'm headed off to bed," Ida stands up and says goodnight to each of us.

"Sweet dreams, Ida," Hornet says as Ida leaves the room.

"You should be getting to bed too," Prosper tells Bo.

"Come on, I'm nearly ten! I think I should get to stay up with you guys!" Bo complains.

Prosper looks at Scipio. I see him shrug.

"Alright, but just this once," Prosper tells the little boy who has on a face of excitement.

"Yes!" He jumps up in the air.

"What are we gonna do about Riccio? Do we know where the kidnapper is?" Hornet asks.

Scipio shakes his head, "He didn't say where he was staying, I have no idea how to find him,"

Just then, a man walks in the door making us all jump.

"Victor! You frightened us half to death," Hornet exclaims.

"Oh I'm sorry. Scipio! I'm so glad you're here! I have something to tell you," the man, Victor says once he sees Scipio.

"Oh, um, Victor this is Juliet, the one I was telling you about," he gestures to me.

"Hello, sir," I say.

His face looks shocked, "Oh, hi Juliet. It's... It's nice to finally meet you," he gulps.

I give a half smile.

"What is it you wanted to tell me?" Scipio asks.

"Come with me into the kitchen," Victor says.

Scipio looks at me and then they both depart into the kitchen.

~Scipio's POV

Victor leads me into the kitchen. He turns around scratching his forehead.

"What is it, Victor?" I ask looking at him.

"I have some news on Juliet's father, Scipio," he says calmly.

I feel my muscles tense.

"What about him?" I ask preparing for the worst.

He sighs and looks straight into my eyes, "He's still searching for Juliet and... I saw him last night... With Riccio,"

I gasp... Juliet's dad kidnapped Riccio, and he wants Juliet in return for Riccio. Now this all makes sense!

"Victor! Victor, thank you so much! Someone left a note in my apartment saying they took Riccio and wanted Juliet in return! .... Oh this is terrible!" I am getting way too ahead of myself, but we now know who kidnapped Riccio!

"Scipio, what are you going to do about Juliet?" He asks once I've calmed down.

I shrug, "Keep her safe, and I'm going to get Riccio back,"

"Be careful, Scipio. You don't know what he will do," he warns me.

"I will. Should I tell Juliet?" I ask him.

"No, don't tell her just yet. When the time is right, then tell her," Victor tells me.

I nod, "Okay,"

We walk back into the living room with everyone and they all look at us.

"I'm going to bed, don't stay up too late, kids," Victor says walking upstairs.

When Victor had exited the room, Juliet's asks, "What did he want?"

"Oh, just some business we had to discuss," I say coming up to her and kissing her cheek lightly.

She nods.

"Alright Bo, let's go to bed," Prosper takes his hand.

"Okay.. Goodnight, Scip! Goodnight, Juliet!" Bo waves as him, Prosper, and Hornet walk up the steps.

"Goodnight, Bo," Juliet and I say waving back.

"I'll be back down to give you guys some blankets and pillows," Prosper tells us and then leaves.

I look at Juliet. Her eyes are tired and weary.

"Come," I tell her and we sit down on the couch.

"Oh, Scip..." She yawns laying her head down on my lap.

"Just go to sleep, love," I whisper stroking her hair.

She just breathes lightly and eventually falls asleep.

Not long after, I'm sleeping peacefully.

I AM SO SORRY I HAVENT BEEN ON IN AWHILE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been working on a story and haven't been able to update in awhile. I apologize. Anyways, did u like the chapter? I'll be back soon! :)
