8 • Touch Down

[George's POV]

We're here.

What a nice weather we have over here. Nice people. Yeah, they're right. The place is beautiful. It's really awesome.

Some fans are here to meet us and they're wonderful. Their attitude towards us made me love them more. I met them and took pictures with them. They're great.

I'm going to meet Gabby and Hazel later. So I hit Gabby's DMs immediately and sent her:

"Hey Gabby it's me again. We're already here! We just arrived and your place must be really cool. Excited to see you! Can we meet at the hotel later? Thanks xx"

And sent her the details. Not long after that, I got a reply from her saying:

"Okay got it! I'm so excited George! See you later hunny, I'm going with my best friend. Thank youuu x"

Once we're okay from the airport, we climbed inside the van the management hired for us. As I look at the city through the car window, it's very simple. There are some city points with skyscrapers, while some points are just very typical for an urban area. The cars aren't moving very well, but it's fine as long as we're chilling here inside.

"Cool, right?" James asked from the next row of seats.

"Yeah, they're... awesome" I replied, my eyes still glued at the window view.

On the front seat is Joe. Second row seaters are Dean, the bodyguard, and Connor. On the third row are me, Blake, and then Reece. The four row seats James, Brad, and Tris.

The other crews are on the other van. I swear, this place is really cool and it's a lot different from the UK. I love new places. It's a different timezone. It's actually 9 o'clock in the morning here.

After the long ride, we're here at the hotel. We checked in and went to our rooms. I'm roommates with the boys. We placed our luggage to where they should be and I hit Gabby's DMs again:

"Hey mind telling me if you're already here? Because we just checked in. I'm coming if you're there. See ya! ♥"

And she sent something. Well it's a photo. I opened it and it's a photo of her and Hazel (I guess) with a caption reads:

"We're so near! Just walking towards where you are. If you ever see these faces then it's us. Love you loads x"

Ugh, she's so beautiful! I MEAN, I'M SO EXCITED AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM, REALLY.

They're almost here, I can feel it.

So close yet so far.
