Once upon a time, there lived a young prince named Adrien. He lived in a palace under his father, King Gabriel. The prince was spoiled, he was given whatever he wanted when he wanted it. He was selfish and kept things to himself. He had no compassion. But one day, a strange man came toward him while he was in town. He asked Adrien to follow him. The prince followed. They came into a shop with strange magical objects. The man sat the prince down in a seat, and he sat in the seat across. "What is the meaning of this? What am I doing in here? This is not my concern" the prince said. The man looked into the prince's deep green eyes. He sensed his selfish heart. "Until you learn to love, a cat shall you be. Only true love's kiss can set you free" the man said. He rang a bell and it echoed in the prince's mind. He fell into a deep sleep.
In a kingdom not far from where the prince lived, there lived a beautiful princess named Marinette. She was very kindhearted and sweet. She was the daughter of Queen Sabine and King Tom. She was the crush of most princes she knew. But she didn't really like them. They were very nice, but they weren't her type. The one prince she loved was Adrien. He didn't love her though. He was too absorbed in himself and his life to notice her. But she still loved him either way.
