I kneel in front of Soryu, who's bicep is bleeding from being shot. I take out my handkerchief and tightly tie it around the wound. "Looks like your hemophobia is getting a lot better." Baba snickers.

"Really, Baba? You have to ask that now?!" Soryu stands up and acts like nothing happened. "Soryu, you shouldn't be-"

"I'm fine..." Soryu cuts me off, with a rude tone.

"I'm just making sure, I don't want-"

"I said 'I'm fine'." His tone grows sharper, and I look down at the ground.

"I-I'm s-sorry," My voice shakes, as I try to apologize.

"..." Soryu's eyes are narrow, as he looks over to Mei Ling. "Are you injured?"

"No, not at all, thanks to you." She smiles, then I look up at her.

"Mei Ling, why are you here? Shouldn't you be in Hong Kong with your father?" I cross my arms and ask her.

"Yes, but my father sent me here under Soryu's protection to search for a suitor."

"Heh, good luck with that." I snicker under my breathe, "You'd have better luck in the kingdoms, then you would here."

"What was that, Yami?" Baba asks.

"N-nothing..."

"No, I know you said something," Baba says smiling.

"Baba, don't-"

"It sounded like you said princess Mei Ling should search for a betrothed in the Allied Kingdoms."

"Baba..." I face slap myself, and look up at Mei Ling.

"That sounds like a great idea, Yami!" Mei Ling says smiling.

"No, I was being sarcastic. I didn't mean it."

"No, she would have better luck in one of the kingdoms." Soryu adds.

"Soryu! Don't encourage her! The princes won't even marry a noble princess, no way they'd marry a mobster princess!" I refuse.

"Don't worry, I'm not actually searching for a husband. I'm just pretending~." Mei Ling says with an innocent smile.

"Um, excuse me for not understanding, but can you please explain your plan?" I ask.

"Yeah, sure. My dad sent me here so I could "look" for a suitor. I don't actually need to find one. I'm just going to go home, and tell daddy that I couldn't find a suitable man." She explains.

"But what are you going to do, you still have to set up dates with the suitors. Don't you see that could be dangerous."

"Yeah, that's where you come in. Soryu said you could pretend to be me."

"He said what?!" I ask, looking up at Soryu.

Soryu turns his head, and I hear Baba say something. "Well, there wouldn't be much of a difference. You both have a thin, sexy body." Baba says grinning.

"Yeah, I guess we are almost exactly the same. Other than the fact that my eyes are two different colors, my hair is white, and we have completely different personalities!" I say, completely annoyed.

"I don't know, Yami. If you wear a black wig, you kind of would look like me. We can just part the bangs, so it covers your left eye." Mei Ling explains, still wearing a smile on her face.

"..." I look away from everyone, and remain silent.

~Time Skip~

Soryu, Mei Ling, and I are all on a private jet, on our way to Nobel Michael. I lean my head against the window, as awkward silence fills the room. Breaking the silence, is the sound of my cell phone. I answer the phone and walk into the other room.

"Hello?" I answer.

"Yami? Are you on your way back?" I hear Yakov ask on the other end of the phone.

"Yeah, we're about two hours away from departing."

"Good, I brought one of your dresses to Nobel Michael for you."

"Why? I don't need it."

"Because, the other princes wanted to hold a 'welcome home' party for you." Yakov answered.

"But I've only been gone for a month and half, that's shorter than what was originally planned."

"Yeah, but everyone missed you."

"But they never see me anyways!" I laugh.

"I don't know, they're pretty strange." Yakov lets out a small laugh.

"Yeah, I'll see you in a bit, okay?" I say with a soft voice.

"Promise?" He asks, with a kind tone.

"I promise, I love you, Yakov." I say quietly, so Mei Ling and Soryu don't hear me.

"I love you too." He hangs up the phone, and I walk back into the room with Mei and Soryu.

"Hey~ guess what the princess are hosting." I ask while sitting down in my seat.

"A ball!!?!!" Mei Ling asks excitingly.

"Yup-"

"You can't go..." Soryu cuts me off.

"Why not~?" Mei asks, a bit disappointed.

"It's not safe." He answers.

"It'll be alright, Yakov, Glenn, and Roberto already know her. She'll be safe, just make sure you keep an eye on her. Also, I'm sure we can set up "dates" for her to meet the princes."

"Yeah! That would be so much fun!"

"And it would be safe, none of them would agree to marry you anyways."

"Why not?" Mei asks.

"Because, they're already betrothed. They aren't allowed to marry, even if they wanted to... Except maybe Joshua, but he's beside the point."

"What?!" Soryu shouts.
