Chapter 13- Sick?
Connor’s Pov.
I was glad that she wasn’t mad at me for thinking that she left. I sighed as lunch came around and saw that our mate wasn’t eating anything for lunch and I mind-linked my brothers ~”guys, something is wrong with our mate”~ I said to them all ~”I know bro, I can feel the sadness” said Jack.
I got up and went into the lunch line and got myself lunch and two oranges then went back to our table and handed Caden the fruit ~”open theses up please”~ I said through mind-link to him and he nodded his head and started to open them up.
~”What do you want to do with these?” Caden ask me I put the slices on my tray and had Austin sit on the other side of our mate then I laid her down on top of my and Austin put her feet on his lap then went back into his and Jack’s convo.
~”I see now, you are going to feed her aren’t you?”! Asked Jason watching Connor grab a slice and looked at him and nodded ~”got to have her eat somehow, right?”~ I said and looked down at my mate whose eyes are closed. “Lillieanne, open your eyes and your mouth please” I said in a soft tone and she did as I told her to, but she didn’t open her beautiful eyes.
I put the orange slice in her mouth and she chewed it and swallowed and opened her mouth again wanting another slice, I grabbed two more and put one inside her mouth again and smiled at her. I was happy that she was eating something.
I put the other slice in her mouth and as I was grabbing my pizza to eat, I saw my brother’s watching me and smiled but I could see a hint of jealously in all their eyes. ~”Really now? You got her to eat something…”~ said Austin, I nodded and gave him an orange splice to give to our mate. He nodded and fed it to her letting his fingers to touch her lips softly.
Our little mate moaned from the contact and that sound woke up our wolves more and Jack laughed a little. ~” what is so funny, Jack?”~ I asked him ~”I found that cute and it kind of gave us all a boner, you know?”~ I sighed, he was right…
~”I think we should take her home, as in our house, she doesn’t look like she feels alright”~ said Jason, we all nodded and Jason helped her off our laps and gave her to me to hold onto for the car ride. Jack grabbed two more oranges and a water bottle and we got into the van, Jason got in the front and started the van up and we left to our house.
I held onto our mate and Jack looked back from the passenger seat and I could see worriedness in his eyes and I looked down, she looked more pale and in slight of pain. Austin put his hand on her forehead and shook his head, ~”a small, small fever, is what she has for what I could tell, she might be going into heat or something else”~ Said Austin.
