Imagine 4- First Date (Lau)

Kaitlyn's P.O.V

"Hey baby! You ready?" Lau says after I open the door to my house and greet him with a kiss.

"Yes, where are we going?" I ask

"Its a surprise." He says and pulls out a blindfold to cover my eyes.

"What are you-" I begin, but he shushes me and leads me to the car.

After a seemingly long drive, I feel the car come to a stop and Laurent opening the door for me. Once he safely gets me to step out, he takes off the blindfold, making a 'swoosh' sound with his mouth, and my facial expression goes from excited to confused.

"The mall?" I asked, "I would've thought it would be something more extravagant, the way you talked about it.." I thought.

"Yep, now stop making that face, c'mon." He said while grabbing my hand and dragging me through the entrance.

This is actually my first time in this mall. Lau has talked about it for years, saying I need to come down to New York and go with him. And plus it's always been a wish of mine. Once we walk through I am surprised by how nice it looks and how everyone is crowded in and around each store. Lau notices how stunned I am and he smirks and pulls me more towards the middle of the mall.

"Where do you want to go first?" He asks, turning to me.

"I- I don't know.." I stutter.

"Haha c'mon." He says and takes me to Victoria Secret. Of course he'd want to go here.

"Get whatever you want Kk." He says and leans back on the wall.

"Are you serious?" I asked, wide eyed. He nods his head and tells me to go on.

Like a kid on Christmas, I run around the store picking up any and everything in my interest and returning them to Laurent. Once I'm done I got back to him and I laugh at how miserable he looks while he's holding two arms full of clothes. I kiss him on the lips and take half of the clothes and lingerie and we both carry them towards the cash register.

"Thank you so much Lau!" I squeal after we leave the store.

"Where to next?" He asks. He doesn't know what he's in for. He should've realized after the $200 he spent in that one store we went in, but I guess not.

We spent almost 4 hours in the mall going through almost every store. We both are tired and hungry as hell, so we decide to stop by the food court.

"You know I really appreciate you doing this Lau, you didn't have to." I said kissing him on the cheek before we sat down at a booth.

"I know, but I wanted to treat my baby for a day." He says and reaches over to what I thought was my hand, but instead it was one of my fries.

"Hey!!" I whine and reach over to his fries and steal some and we laugh.

"I love you Kaitlyn." He says and my eyes widen at the fact it's his first time saying it.

"Aww Lau, I love you more." I say and reach over the table to kiss him.

For the rest of the evening we decided to walk around the mall and talk about nothing, which meant everything to us. I think about how I fell in love with this man. Maybe it's his charm, his smile, his eyes, the way he dresses, his personality, or maybe just him being... him. Either way, I love him, and I'm glad that we both realize this.

"Kk? Did you hear me? What you thinking about?" He asks and wraps his arm around my shoulder.

"Oh, nothing." I smile and lean my head in, towards him.

What a perfect day.
