The Dating Games

1) the two projects

As the crowd parted I saw my group, the 'bad boys'. Just looking at them made me nervous.

"Are you our partner?" Sam asked. He was the leader of the group and never went anywhere without one of his groupies. He was 6'1 with shaggy brown hair and brown eyes. Him and his 'gang' as they liked to be called always wore shorts no matter how cold it was outside.

"Ya I guess." I said hesitantly. They scared the crap out of me and I didn't want to mess with them.

"Why are you so scared?" Clayton asked. He was kind and gentle. Clayton had blonde hair and soft blue eyes that made me feel safe and secure. Wait did I just think that? What's happening to me?

"I'm not scared!" I yelled at him but for some reason he didn't believe me.

"I know your lying so just tell me the truth."Clayton said softly.

"Fine you and your friends are the bad boys, the cool guys. I don't hang out with people like you guys." I told him.

He got closer to me until our faces were inches apart and whispered in my ear "then maybe you should start." and then he walked away like nothing happend.

I was stunned by what just happend. He left his friends and everything. They soon noticed and came over to me.

"What did you do?" Alex asked me.

"I didn't do anything."

"Then why did he run away. You had to do something."

"I don't know why he ran away and I didn't do anything." I said as I backed away.

"You liar!" Alex yelled at me.

I kept backing up until I hit the lockers. He looked like he was about to hit me. I closed my eyes and huddled against the lockers waiting for the impact, but it never came. Instead I opened my eyes to see two boys. Both 6'3 and muscular, one had dark black hair and blue eyes and the other had red hair and green eyes.

"What do you think you were doing?" the dark haired one asked as he held Alex's arm.

"Nothing." he said quickly.

"It sure looked like you were about to hit this pretty girl here. Is that true?"

"No it's not." Alex said

"You better leave her alone." the red head said. (A/N I rhymed there!)

"No problem." Alex said.

"Good now scram!" the dark haired boy said.

I tried to get up but I couldn't, my body

Body wouldn't let me.

"Need some help?" the red haired boy asked as he offered his hand that I gladly accepted.

"I'm Patrick and this is Grayson." The dark haired one said, pointing to himself and the red head boy.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Lily and thanks for the help." I said awkwardly.

"Don't mention it. now what's you next class?" Grayson asked me.

"Advanced history. What's yours." I asked him.

"I have advanced history also, and he has geography." Grayson told me.

"Ok then I will see you later Patrick, it was nice meeting you."

"Bye Lily!" Patrick said and walked the opposite way.

"Let go to class!" Grayson said as we linked arms and skipped to class.

We walked to Mrs. Sanders history class. When I walked in everyone stared at us. i walked to my seat next to my best friend Dacy.

"Why are you walking to class with Grayson Walker." She asked me.

"Ummm... no reason." I told her.

"Keep in mind I'm your best friend and know when your lying."

"I'm not lying nothing happend!"

"Now you being defensive so I know you lying."

"Fine. In my last class i got put into a group with Alex Sam and Clayton and I was scared and Clayton told me I should hang out with them more often and left so Alex and sam thought i did something to him and I told him I didn't do anything but he didn't believe me and he tried to hit me but Grayson and Patrick stopped them and Grayson walked me to class."

"Ok."

Then Mrs. Sanders started speaking.

"Ok class today we are doing a group project. Pick you group of five."

"Dacy!"

"Lily!"

We both look at each other and laugh. So we only need three more people.

"Hey Lily we need two more people, do you want to be in our group?"

I look at Dacy and she agreed. So we walked over.

"Lily this is Josh and Casey. Josh and Casey this is Lily and Dacy" Grayson said. We all said hi and Mrs. Sanders started talking again.

"Your group needs to choose one ancient empire and do a power point over it. You have two weeks starting today. You may begin."Mrs. Sanders said.

"I want to do ancient egypt." I said

"Lets do Greece!" Josh said.

"I'm doing Egypt." Dacy said and I high-fived her.

"Greece!" Casey said.

"Ummmm... Lets do Egypt."

"Yes!" Dacy and I cheered.

"NOOOOO!" Josh and Casey booed.

RING RING RING

"Now that everyone has their group and empire choosen you can leave." Mrs. Sanders said.

"Ok. Bye guys."

"Bye Lily."

"Hey Lily wait." Grayson said and I waited.

"Do you want to eat lunch with us." he asked me.

"Sure. I have to go to class now, bye." I said.

"Later Lily." Grayson said and I walked to class.

It might take me a while to update and the chapters might be short but now that I'm on summer break I will update sooner.
