“What the fuck get off my girl?!” Nate shouts.
He looks at me and I shake my head. I’m not Nate’s girl.
“Wes get the fuck off my girl.” Nate ignores me completely and shoves Wes into the wall. I see Wes wince, his back isn’t any better.
Wes pushes Nate right off him.
“Wes don’t you dare touch her.” Nate warns.
“She’s not yours bro.” Wes responds.
Bro is not a word they’ve used since that party incident.
“Allie go to your class.” He tells me.
I can ride my bike with no handlebars I sing.
“Allie go now.” His voice stronger and louder.
I can ride my bike with no handlebars I keep singing.
“Alexi get to fucking class.” He yells forcing the whole corridors to silence.
I can ride my bike with no handlebars. I shake my head to him.
“Talk for God sake.” He yells at me.
“She doesn’t want to.” Wes holds onto my hands.
“I didn’t ask you.” He spits.
“I’m late to class.” I say.
The silent corridor becomes full off noise as people laugh. What’s the joke? Because I am late to class and that was the first thing that came to mind.
“Excuse me.” I brush past Nate and walk to my lesson.
“He’s not going to let this go.” Wes says as we slip on to our stools getting ready from chem.
--
Maddy is at my car and we’re walking to her. It’s in perfect condition.
She looks so excited to be riding with me and Wes, and I think I know why.
“OhMyGod I can’t believe that… OhMyGod.” She squeals as we get in.
“It’s really nothing.” I tell her hoping she’d let it drop.
“Are you crazy?” she asks. “He was like shouting at you.”
“I know.” I sigh quietly.
“That’s like high on Nate’s I’m angry scale.”
I turn and raise a brow.
“He would never shout at you.” She confesses.
“So you say.” I respond.
“Seriously. I heard him talking to Wes.” She confesses again. Wes turns and she shrugs. “He was all ‘she’s the one man. Totally special. I hope I don’t go all macho on her and shout. I hate that.’” She put on a Nate accent which was pretty darn good. We all laugh.
“Music?” I ask.
“Yes. OhMyGod you have so many CD’s in here.” Maddy squeals.
I reach for my music compartment al pull one out. Wes puts it in the player for me.
“I need another story. Something to get my chest. My life gets kinda boring need something that I can confess.” I and Maddy sing. “Tell me what you want to hear something that’ll like those ears. I’m sick of all the insincere. I’m gonna give all my secrets away.” We’re screaming now.

We’re at Maddy’s house it’s a few houses down from Avery’s.
“Wes. Uh Maddy left her cell.” Maddy is already in her house now.
