Amilia's POV

I watched as the two men left and quickly cleared the table and resetting it for the next customers. I sighed as I finnished my paperwork smiling as I slipped my tips into my bra. I shoved my apron in my bag and looked at my phone.

Really he doesnt know when to stop. ignoring the call again I said goodbye to Penny and made my way out the door. I sighed as the night air hit me. "Well I can only hope you didnt answer my calls because you were working and not ignoring me again." I froze but quickly regained my posture.

"Do you ever go away? What part of back off and its over don't you understand?" I snapped back.

So I may be a shifter but he wasnt hand he didnt know I wasnt that scared of him.

"Sweetheart around here, you don't get that choice. its nlt over till im done with you." he sneered back tucking his phone in his pocket. I rolled my eyes and began my 13 block walk home as my stalker followed. Not safe, I know. But I wasn't about to let him know I was worried about him.

"Yea well I dont have time for douchebags like you." I sneered as I turned on my heel I made it to the corner of the building before his hand clamped down on my arm.

Without thinking I pulled back and punched him full on in the nose, effectively shaking his hand off my arm. I stepped back as I glared at him. I had thrown a little too much into that punch but what surprised me most was he was still standing.

"I said take the hint, back off." I hissed out in a low growl.

His eyes flashed silver almost to quick for me thatch and my wolf knew I was in trouble.

'Hunter.' she hissed at me.

'If he knew he would have attacked me way before now. it must just be in his blood.' I shot back to her.

' Either way we need to watch out, they dont call them hunters for no reason. whether he knows it ot no the can hurt us if he wants.' she reminded me.

I stumbled back another two steps before I stepped into something very warm...and very solid.

"Your gonna wish you hadn't just done that!" My psycho ex booty call sneered. what? You can't blame a girl, he was easy on the eyes and had decent charm about him. I should have seen this snap though, you always meet the crazy people in a bar.

"I believe the lady said back off" a deep voice rumbled through the air sending warm tingles down my spine. I held back the shiver that ran through me as Nathan eyed me then the man standing behind me. There was something familiar about his voice though. I didnt turn to see him I knew never to take my eyes off my attacker or prey, how ever you see it. Nathan wasnt one for public confrontations so he sneered lowly. "This isn't over Ami," before he turned on his heel and paced off quickly into the dark. I glanced around seeing the almost empty streets and lack of traffic reminded me of how late it really was.

I soft hand wrapped around my arm sending a warm current through me. The scent of my home wrapped around me as I slowly turned.

Never have I felt so right with my world. I couldnt understand why my wolf was fighting me so hard. I shook my head collecting myself better and put on a smile. "Well, I guess that's what happens when you get drunk in the wrong bar." I snickered as I looked up in a strangely familiar pair of blue eyes.

"Looks like your alright then." His voice purred out through a small chuckle.

I nodded as I took him in and realized my last table of the night was still here. Tyler smiled down at me and I felt my heart flutter softly. if only for a moment my world felt right. Though I could only nod as I took him in again in a closer setting. I never thought I would ever be caught off guard but this really surprised me.
