New Girl

Charlie Evans is a 16-year-old girl who definitely chooses to stay out of high school issues. Choosing to live a low profile in the new school she just transferred to; Splendore High. Being used to popularity and attention from the school she came from, she was known to be the all-so-talented girl. The star, the singer, the musician and the drop-dead hottie. She was no cheerleader from where she came from, but shes definitely the most popular girl in school. She didn't choose to be even in the slightest corner of popularity, she loves silence. But being all so good in almost everything, and not to mention becoming Homecoming Queen made her most popular. She's simple, but she can turn to the hottest and prettiest girl specially when she styles herself.

Going to her first class in Splendore High, she bumps into a guy. He wore brown slim fit pants with a matching Hollister shirt.

"Oh! I'm sorry!" Chay kneels down to pick up her books that fell.

"Oh, it's okay. No biggie." The guy said.

Chay disturbingly gives the guy a shock stare or more like a star struck look, he was simple. His approach gave her heartbeat a skip. Her face turning red as her jet black smooth fringe tucked behind her ears was falling to her face.

"New girl?" He smiles, Chay nods in the most obvious way of saying "I'm starstrucked." With her jaw almost dropping open.

"I'm Shane." He tucks her fallen hair back to her ears,

"Be careful next time, you wouldn't want to mess up such beautiful face." Shane says in the most sincere tone.

He then continues to walk towards where he was going.

Chay stood there, almost speechless. She definitely knew that was a first sight crush, but she didn't want to believe it. She never had a feeling again in years after she was embarrassed in middle school on her first confession. Her old crush made fun of her for always having a twin-tailed hairstyle with matching eyeglasses and braces. She was almost bullied. This moment was very weird for her. A feeling of both uh-oh and oh-my! It absolutely was a crush.

Shane Morgan is the school's most popular guy. Despite that, he was different. Most would describe him as a very humble and kind man. How every girl would perfectly say, their "ideal boyfriend". He is the school’s singer. Girls would fall for his husky-sweet voice every time he lets out a tone. A total prince charming.

Without Charlie's idea, she just fallen, well not really, she just had a crush on the school's prince. She hated the popular, it ruined her privacy and everything. The reason she transferred to a different school was probably because of all the annoying fame she had. She hated fame and its noise, quite different from the usual girls that would die to be popular.

The bell rang, as she went to her first class.

"You made it just in time Ms. Evans.", Mr Henry mumbled. Her math teacher.

"Good Morning Mr Henry.", Chay uttered infront of the class.

"Everyone, this is Charlie Evans. Your new classmate. Give her a seat." He continued.

Chay went to the corner, where the only available seat was. She started to look around to see what her classmates were like, they were all different. Some were goth, nerdy, or just random. She was pleased to see less jock-looking guys and cheerleading girls. More like, happy to know that there's no "I'm popular." classmate around her. The class went on as Mr Henry wrote formulas on the board. Explaining a lot, Chay wasn't really listening. She was playing with her pen, totally distracted from thinking about lyrics to compose. She already knew the lesson Mr Henry was teaching. She was ms beauty and brains after all.
