As the door opened, Lucy didn't even think for a second that it could be the cops coming in to save her. The person who came into the room was gently humming a song. It could almost be comforting it wasn't so terrifying. It was a woman. She was wearing high heels and a beautiful black dress. Everything on her looked expensive down to the last pearl but she looked priceless. The woman walked into the room without saying a word. She went to the table, turned the hourglass and said:
-You have five minutes to convince me not to kill you right now.
Lucy opened her mouth to defend herself but the strange woman immediately stopped her.
-Shut up sweetie, you'll ruin all the fun.
She went to the counter to retrieve an item. Lucy didn't know what it was but she knew this sadistic woman wanted to see her bleed. She turned around slowly so that Lucy could identify the device; a hairbrush. She didn't believe it at first. Maybe it was simply her brain making her think the best out of this horrible situation but no, this was real. The woman walked towards her with insane written all over her smile. She opened her mouth, draped in a velvet shade to ask her:
-Is your hair naturally all curly and pretty like that?
Lucy opened her mouth in the hopes that she wouldn't let her talk again but seeing she wouldn't be interrupted, she said:
-Yes...
-Wow, I'd love to have cute hair like you. I have to curl mine every morning.
-It's very pretty, Lucy whispered.
-What did you say! she screamed.
Holding back her tears Lucy responded:
-I think you're pretty.
-Why look at you, sweet talking me. You might just last longer than assless Megan here.
She pointed to the inanimate girl on the wall. She took Lucy's hand and kneeled before her. She smoothly dropped her soft lips on her knuckles. This scene was of a pure love, uncanny from this lustful serial killer. Lucy was only starting to fall into her yearning trap.
-I'm Charlie and you are?
-Lucy.
She didn't hesitate before talking this time. She felt confidence. Confidence in this stranger who she felt a true connection the second they met for real. She had never felt this thirst for any boy ever before. And for the first time today, she wasn't so sure she was going to die.
