Many people love the story of Cinderella: the pumpkin carriage, the fairy godmother, the romance, the happy ending for me the girl who was mistreated by her step-sisters and step mother. How could you not love it? At least, how could you not love it until you hear the gruesome truth behind the tale?

Her name was actually Marianna, but her sisters called her Mary. How she hated that name. It made her blood boil. Her sisters didn't even know she felt that way until one seemingly normal day. The not-so-evil step-sisters had gone to town to by food for Marianna's twentieth birthday. When they came home singing "Happy Birthday" to their dear sister, it wasn't just Marianna's blood that was boiling. Their mother's was as well. Marianna had used her father's steel sword to butcher her step mother. That's when the truth came out: Marianna was a witch. She had not only killed her step mother out of anger, but for the purpose of a spell she  had been attempting that required a sacrifice.

She hid the evidence of her crime from her sisters, but it became evident that she was a witch. Marianna's wicked personality was increasingly revealed, but those poor girls never knew about their mother.

One day, in hunger for power, Marianna used her beauty and acting ability to gain the trust of the prince. Her plan worked, and he proposed. By the time her sisters found out, there was only a day until the wedding. The girls had to do something to protect the soon-to-be prince from her, so they took her sword and stabbed her with it while she was sleeping, fled the house, and caught it on fire.

Several years later, a visage of Marianna appeared to her sisters in a mirror. Her black hair matted and messy and the dress she wore when she died was stained wit blood and torn. She was not fully deaf as the sacrifice of her step mother had granted her eternal life as a bringer of death and a new name: Bloody Mary. Disney got her nam by the way she "died." Cinderella was burned by her sisters before coming back to get revenge.

Her thirst for power resulted in a great tragedy, much like someone else...
