CHAPTER 5: The Ghost

It was 10:00 am when they decided to search Jelo.

Every student seems so busy in their classroom, but there still those students who cut classes. Some of them are in the garden with their partners.

Some are in the cafeteria who spent their time chatting. While some of the students are in the library-they were the so-called fake genius group or those students who just went to the library to cut their classes.

They decided to separate their ways so it will be easy for them to find Jelo.

Chinchin went again to the garden and search deeply the area. After she cleared the area she went to the pool for she knows Jelo is a varsity player of their swimming club. But she was sad when she saw that no one is around because it was not yet the time for the training session.

She decided to go to the gym, hoping that Jelo might be there because he was also a varsity of their badminton club. But before she could reach the gym, she saw a familiar person sitting on the bench at the park near the gym. She went there with haste.

“Hey! Jelo! We’ve been searching for you but thanks’ God you’re here.” She said when she reaches the man but the man seems he doesn’t heard anything from her

“Hey! Are you okay?” She said and tapped the man’s shoulder

“What’s your problem, Ms?” The man said with full of confusion

“The problem is you. Why you leave the room without leaving any words from us? You make us worried, aren’t you?”

“What are you talking about?” The man said with his look that says “This lady is insane”

“Oh! Come on! Don’t play with me. You are him, Jelo my friend.” She said and she takes her sit

“I’m serious.” The man said and she went silent and examined the man’s face

“You look like Jelo, the one that I’ve been looking for.” She started and the man listens

“He left us with no reasons. We thought him just going to his club but he’s not. We separate our ways and keep on searching him until I found you there. At first I thought it was you. Because you look like him, but the difference is he has no mole on his forehead instead he have this on his right eyes.” She continue and the man laugh at her

“What’s the problem? Why are you laughing?” She said and gave him a blank expression

“I’m his brother, his twin.” The man said

“Is that really!? Jelo haven’t told it to me that he has this twin.”

“It is because I said so. By the way I’m James.”

“I’m Chinchin, Jelo’s classmate and friend.”

“I’m nice to meet you! By the way I’m also searching him since my dad calls me that he wants to talk to the two of us regarding our businesses.”

“Oh! I see. We have no idea where did he go.”

“That’s his nature. Anyway I need to go. I will inform you as soon as Jelo arrive.” James said as he stands and dust off his pants and started walking away

“Thanks!” Chinchin said as she wave her hands and decided to went to the gym

Benj went to the cafeteria for he knows Jelo tend to waste his time drinking a cup of coffee. He saw a group of lady laughing. He went hasten there and asks them.

“Hi! Girls! Is Jelo gone here?”

“No he didn’t.” Ellen said

“We’re also looking for him. We knew that he always spent his time there. We just want to take some picture with him because he vanquished again the other school from the last swimming competition but we failed to see him.” The leader of the group said

“Okay! Thank you! See you around.” Benj said as he wave his hands as he leave and decided to went to the gym

While Marc went to the library for he thought that Jelo might be those bookish type of person because when the time he met him he was reading his book.

He was really curious about Jelo’s personality. It was first time for him to see a man who loves to read a book. Most of he had met were usually hanging out with their peers. Bullying some students and playing some dirty stuff.

He cleared his mind and continued walking till he reaches it. He opened the door and greeted the peevish librarian. She was on her late 40. He logged in and went inside. He looked every corner and found every student.

Some of them are busy doing their research paper or their assignments. Some of them are busy talking in a lower voice.

While some of the students are sleeping maybe they were tired enough doing their research.

On the center-end edge of the library he saw a familiar person downcast sleeping on the table.

He went hasten there to see that person. When he was about reaching the man, he felt dread on his heart.

He felt a cold wind embracing him. His heart beats a billion in a second. He examined the man and found that it was his looking for.

“Hey! Bro! We’ve been searching for you. Why you haven’t told us that you are going to take asleep there? You make us worried. We decided to separate our ways just to search you. Chinchin decided to search you in the garden while Benj decided to search you in the cafeteria.” He explained but the man remain silent

“Is there problem why you don’t bother to tell us where you’re going?” He added but he gets no response

“Hey! Bro are you okay?” He said and decided to wake him up but when he turned the man’s body, the blood poured out profusely from the man’s heart.

He pulled the man out of his shock and run for the door. All students stared at him; they thought that he was insane. The librarian yelled at him but he ignored it.

He continues running till he reaches the gymnasium. He sat on the bench and calmed his self. He’s running out of breathe. He inhaled, exhaled, inhaled, and exhaled.

He placed his hand on his forehead and he can feel his sweat. He looked around hoping that no one sees what he acts.

He saw a man in white standing on the stage. He rubbed his eyes and stared the man. The man looked at him also. He has no head at all. Centipedes are running thru and fro on his arms. His blood poured out profusely from his chest down to his feet.

The man walks toward his direction. He swallowed with fear. He could feel the thumping on his chest. He doesn’t know what to do. His mind is not functioning at all. He decided to close his eyes till he felt someone touched his shoulder.
