"Dammit, Jade. Stop using my lipstick, you asshole." Siena yelled at her roommate as she was dressing up for yet another date.

Siena and Jade were best friends. They had been best friends since birth, really. Their parents had been best friends, so it was only fitting that they became lifelong friends.

They were polar opposites, really. Jade was as girly as they came. She had a dress for every day of the week and a lipstick for every mood. Despite her girly exterior, she was a lesbian. She loved girls and had no problem experimenting with straight girls. At one point, she'd even experimented with Siena.

Fifteen year old Jade slowly trudged to her best friend's room. She was scared beyond all belief. How could she tell her best friend that she thought she was gay? She wasn't even sure, really, but she needed to know fully before anything else happened.

How does one ask their best friend to kiss them to prove their straight? That was the problem. Jade didn't know how to approach this.

Jade knocked lightly on Siena's door. Normally she'd just barge on in, but this time, it was different.

"Babe, why are you knocking?" Siena chuckled as she opened her bedroom door.

"Um, well, I want to talk. It's kind of serious." Jade said, her voice barely above a whisper. Siena looked at her best friend with an arched brow and nodded, closing her laptop.

"What's up?" Siena said as she and Jade sat on her sheets.

"Um, this is going to sound totally crazy, but um, I think I might like-like, um..." Jade's voice trailed off. She couldn't say it.

"Are you finally admitting to liking Leo Johnson?" Siena smirked, knowingly. That was far from it, actually.

Jade shook her head. Immediately, it became a guessing game.

"Jason?" No.

"Santiago?" No.

"Theodore?" No.

"Noah?" No.

"What about Will--" Siena guessed before being interrupted by Jade's yelling.

"GIRLS!" Jade finally broke. She whispered, "I like girls."

"Oh."

"Do you hate me?" Jade asked. She didn't think she'd be able to take it if she lost Siena just because of who she preferred.

"Of course not. How do you know?" Siena asked.

"I don't. I've never kissed a girl." Jade shrugged her shoulders, hugging on one of Siena's pillows.

A silence fell upon the two for a few moments until Siena finally said, "Kiss me."

"Excuse me?" Jade questioned, completely surprised by her friend's statement.

"Kiss me. That way you'll know if you actually like girls and if it's a phase or not." Siena explained.

Jade paused for a minute and nodded. "Are you sure?"

"I don't mind." Siena smiled.

Both the girls moved closer to each other on the bed and Siena took control of the situation. She rested her hand against Jade's cheek and planted her lips on her best friend's.
