Bleed For Me

The body was found later that day. No one really knew what to make of it. Alexander was the fifth victim in under a month. All in all there had been forty seven killings. The police originally thought it to be nothing more than a revenge killing. Someone taking out their anger upon the vampire community. Until the third victim. Lucy was the fist to have saliva found upon the flesh of her neck in and around her wounds. As the murder's continued the nasty gashes soon became cleaner and more contained. Soon resembling a feeding that could have been found when any vampire had come upon a human when starving, but this person still wasn't as calm as them. The pairs of puncture wounds would be scattered about the body. Neck, legs, arms, stomach, breasts, etc.

As they looked further into it something odd came up. A venom within the saliva (well more like a drug really). It was made to relax the body but heighten the parts of the brain that dealt with pain. As well as shut down the parts of the body made for rapid healing and other abilities. This killer could literally make them feel human.

Ashter looked at the newspaper seeing a photo of Alexander and made a strange look. Something felt off like she knew him but shook herself getting off of the subject quickly. Her long black hair mixed with the pale tone of her skin gave a mythical look to her features. She had rather large almond shaped eyes colored like the shadows of the night. A small pair of metal hoops latched upon her lower lips.

She turned moved to her closet pulling out a pair of tight black jeans and a red tank-top. Music from below vibrated the floor under her feet making the building almost feel like it had a pulse. Ashter smiled a bit nodding her head to the beat letting it take her mind away. Soon her body began to sway as it filled her like the very blood that filled her veins.

The vampire purred slightly as she pressed her fangs to her bottom lip tugging upon on of the silvery hoops. She lived within a building called "The Grateful Dead" a bit of a joke on the behalf of the tenants.

Those of the human variety weren't allowed to rent a room within these halls. They could attend the festivities of the parties below but their money was never welcomed when it came to requesting to live here.

Ashter still could recall the first time she moved in and how many strange looks she got. The first few nights the neighbors came to make sure she was what she claimed to be and passed with flying colors. Still even with all the stress of proving yourself there was other matters to worry about such as this killer and food. Ever since the laws had been passed a vampire couldn't feed off of a living being unless they were sentenced to death. So soon blood banks found a new way to deal with the blood that was soon to "Go Bad". It worked rather nicely. You'd get your cards and work to earn the amount you wanted per week then when it was time to cash in you just walk in and present the damn thing, but not all is ever well in paradise now is it?
