Kim Namjoon likes to think of himself as smooth and a charmer, but his friends (exhibit A: Min Yoongi) believes him to be a klutz who spends more time on the floor, then he does standing up. Despite what Shorty McGrumpy Pants may think, Namjoon knows he can get any girl he wants and can charm his way into every one of their hearts.

It's not like he hadn't tried before but every attempt always ends with him embarrassing himself - be it stuttering or tripping on his too long limbs - but today he was finally going to tell her how he felt even if he trips and falls, plus it's not his fault he has fallen for her and if he is lucky, maybe she can help pick him up or trip and fall with fall in the process.
So, when he walks into the already in session college party with loud music and people grinding on each other while others - Seo Jisoo, Jung Hoseok and Lee Mijoo - stand on tables shouting and drunk out of their minds, he decides tonight is the night he makes his move.
When he catches a glimpse of her at the bar, he says, "I am going to talk to her."
Yoongi is unimpressed. "Sure you are."
"I really am," He frowns, "Why don't you believe me?"
"First, you have said the same thing about ten times, " Yoongi says, "Second, you are too afraid to do it. Finally, if you really wanted to, you wouldn't still be standing here talking to me."
"Some best friend you are." Namjoon turns on his heels away from the shorter boy, making his way to the oblivious girl currently in a conversation with a girl whose face he couldn't see. Yoongi follows him, just to make sure he doesn't trip and fall.
"Your dimple is illegal. " He begins, waiting for her to turn around with her half-empty transparent cup of what looks like orange juice and he tries not to squeal at how cute she is drinking juice at a college party.
"Excuse me?" She says with an irk of a smile and he tries again not to squeal in delight at the cute and very endearing dimple that forms.
Leaning closer, he whispers, "Your dimple is illegal."
She giggles, "Are they. I didn't know
"Your dimples are dangerous, so I hope you don't mind if I call you illegirl?"
Shorty McGrumpy Pants who is seated on the stool on Namjoon's right and the brunette who Namjoon now recognizes as Yoo Jiae, both groan
"I am not drunk enough for this," Yoongi comments. Turning to Jiae, he mouths, 'Want to get out of here?'
'Yes, please.' She mouths back.
And without another comment, they make their escape from the horror that was Kim Namjoon's pick-up lines.
"Should I worry about him, " Soojung questions after their best friends have left.
"Nope, " Namjoon says. "He is harmless."
"Good." She smiles.
"Your smile is really beautiful, illegal I will like to think."
Soojung presses her lips together, trying and failing to suppress her grin. "If you stop, it's a date."
His eyes widen, "Y-you serious."
"What, " She grins, "Don't want to anymore."
"I do." Namjoon smiles and she doesn't know why, but she reaches up and pokes his dimple watching it pop back out.
"Your dimples are illegal, " She pokes his dimple again. "I guess I will just have to call you illeboy."
Kim Namjoon would think of himself as smooth and a charmer.
Now, he believes he saved a country in his past life.
Because Lee Soojung was dangerous. And so were her dimples.
