         <Phone call>

Hey mom, can I go out in the field again?

Sure, just don't be gone for too long!

Thanks a lot!

Bye sweetie

Bye mom!

               <End Call>

Today was a good day, nothing really happened though. However, I like the silence, because I usually isolate myself. I'm not a big fan of large groups of people. It has been an issue since I was young. When I was little, I never left my mother's side. I was in preschool when it started. I hid behind my mother, thinking there was tons of other kids.

I have been doing my best to deal with groups of people. I make up excuses when I don't work such as, "Sorry I'm just really tired." I had to have silence. That's why I come to this field of flowers. It's made up entirely of daisies.

That's what you think.

Yeah, yeah. I'm always wrong about something. I finally made it there. I laid down near the hill and gazed at the fluffy and delicate clouds that form into different shapes. I looked to my left where the forest was, then to my right where the other side of the field is.  I saw a tiny red dot. It caught my eye, so I decided to go look at it.

Curiosity killed the cat ya' know.

Whatever. Then as I looked closer, there was a single rose. It was just sitting there, all alone. Being different isn't bad though. I didn't want to disturb the beauty of the field, so I left it there. "It's so peaceful here," I said out loud.

There was a beautiful stream nearby. I wonder if the fish are still there. Most likely nowhere near here though. It has been forever since me and my little sister dropped fish into the stream. I miss him. He was our pet for 3 years until he got a fungus and sadly passed away. We dropped his body into this stream since it was a peaceful area and it would be respectful.

Then we got a new pet. It was a beautiful creature. It's still alive to this day. We bought an axolotl. The name we gave it is Pixel. Then we got a 2nd axolotl, which we named Axel.

I'll give a description of axolotls at the end.

Technically they are my big sister Ella's pets. She's wanted an axolotl for years now. And she finally got one. Ella also has a ball python, corn snake, hognose snake, 2 leapord geckos, a bearded dragon, an iguana, 1 cat, 1 dog, a blue tounged skink, a koi pond, a beta fish tank, and even a freaking alligator.

She absoulty loves all of them. I don't know how someone can love all of those pets. We visit Ella's house a lot because mom says she won't tolerate that many pets so she moved out and took her pets with her.

The daisy field let's me relieve my mind of all of it's thoughts that were left behind earlier in the day. My mother texted me to go home and so I did; leaving all of the random thoughts there for another day.

On my way home, I remembered my journel from so many years ago. It was originally Ella's but she gave it to me.

Hi im (y/n) the new owner if this book

Every year we do a family tradition of the entire family dresses up as one movie. This year we are doing Alice in Wonderland. Alice is 2, I'm 5 Rachel is 12, and Ella is 12.

Alice will be....Alice. Rachel is going to be the Cheshire Cat. I'm going to be the White Queen. Ella is going to be the Mad Hatter. My mom Rebecca, will be the Queen of Hearts, and my dad Jason, will be The White Rabbit.

Alice is wearing Alice's dress and outfit.

Rachel is wearing this.

I'm wearing this.

Ella is wearing this.

My mom is wearing this.

My dad is wearing this.

It's odd that the dad is the white rabbit because mom does hide from dad sometimes. I wonder why.

So axolotls are the tadpole state of a salamander. However they are unique because they reach sexual maturity during this state. This is caused by the lack of a hormone that causes them to change. They are critically endangered in the wild, for they can only be found in 1 polluted lake in Mexico. They thrive in captivity though. They are a popular exotic pet. They have the ability to regrow all of their limbs, 1/3 of their heart, their frontal brain, and their spine. These things are amazing.

Those feathery things are their gills. They cannot leave the water, even though they are classified as a salamander.

Yeah that's them, let me know if I made any mistakes.
