I've been wondering lately,
How come love will never be that easy?
It does sound crazy
But all I could think about is giving my heart freely.
I tried to cover my ears
And chose to hear only the cheers.
I tried to close my eyes
And chose not to count how many goodbyes.
I've come to know you for quite some time,
And I realized I think you'll do just fine.
For I remember the first time I saw you,
It never really occured to me how your life was so blue.
You still amaze me with all the little things you do,
Even though I'm not sure if they were all true.

And tell you how much I love you
