Hello there! I am Ozaki Haruhiko, the Ultimate Filmmaker. Yes, I do know how boring this talent is. It is useless after all. Before coming to this place, I lived in a small neighborhood with my father. He was an alcoholic and often abused my older brother. When I was younger, I remember  filming my father beating him to the bone leaving mental scars along with the physical ones. My dad never touched me, though. Maybe dad just wanted to preserve my skills. He always said to me, 'Your talent is amazing, my boy' and 'I don't want you to be a mess up like my other son is'. I never understood what he meant; even to this day. Brother would explain to me that filming is just a way to entertain people till they get bored again. 'No matter how hard you work', he yelled, 'You'll never be good at anything. Just get over it already!' Even at a young age like that, I believed every word that left his mouth. Now that I'm older I can see that my talent is boring, but I'm good at it. Years later I got an email  stating that I got excepted into a program called S.H.A.R.S which stands for Salutary Help Alluring Radical Successors. Instantly my father drove me to the building. I should have been more excited than him. While we were in the car he kept boasting about how famous I could get and all the money that would be earned from this small step. My stomach was doing flip flops.... But why? Why am I so nervous? Will there be other people as well? Am I winging this solo?  Gently I patted my face, breathing deeply. 'Stop', I whispered lightly. My eyelids shut and I slowly calmed down.

Lights...

Bright, yellow bulbs pointed at the vehicle as if  it was scanning the whole car.

 Camera...

The gate opened up as soon as the car got closer and closer sealing the uneasy tension in the air.

They pulled up to the front door. The car halted with a small squeak and the car doors unlocked with a click.  The dad forcefully opened his son's side reaching across Haruhiko's chest  just to pull at the handle. "Out you go", his father barked energetically. He slid out the vehicle grabbing the small duffel bag and recording gear. Slowly taking in his surroundings, Haru slung both bags over his shoulder and slammed the door shut. His steps became heavy as he neared the entrance. Quickly, the son's dad rolled down the window screeching to his son. "Do good or else I'll abuse you just like your mother's lame accident!" The wheels of the car turned out of the courtyard leaving dark marks on the gray pavement.

Why must he be so harsh when talking about Nara...  I know brother did bad things when he was younger but I still feel bad. Everyone should get another chance. Though, I never got any chances to change. I reached the steps shrugging the duffel bag back up my shoulder. Were the stairs always this steep? God. I'm just freaking out over nothing!!!!  My feet dragged up the wretched steps as I saw the wooden door.  Nervously, I pushed the door open with shaky hands, hoping for the best.

Action...

Everything felt dizzy and the world was spinning 'round. I felt my knees cave in as my body hit the floor with a loud thud. Was the world black or did my eyes close. Is it time for me to go home?  It felt like seconds past, since I was in this state. I know I'm not dead, but what could have happened.....

"It's time to wake up", a female voice rang out.

It seemed sweet and filled with love. I was tempted to answer her voice until a sharp pain stabbed me in the arm. My eyes fluttered open as my irises tried adjusting to the light. With aching arms I propped my upper body up into a sitting position. White blankets and sheets slid off my stomach. My back lightly cracked as I turned to stare at the exit. The sliding door was open a crack and I could see another room number. Are there more people over there?

A soft beep looped over and over again mainly from the heart monitor. His IV dripped at a calm, and steady pace. Haruhiko pulled the needle out of his wrist and swung his feet towards the floor. The cold floor stung his feet and made him shiver. The world felt as if it were swaying back and forth. Not only was walking difficult, but keeping balance was harder. The only guide he had was the railing on the wall. Gradually he made his way to the doorway and slid the door open. Haruhiko's head poked out and he tried yelling out to someone; anyone at that! "He-Hello", he squeaked.

"Who's There?"
