"Who's There?"

Uhm. . . Is there another dude here? My arm gently pressed on the doorway. I heard a small screeching noise come from the door to the left of me. My legs became wobbly and I grabbed the doorway for support. Fear crept up my body as I peered out into the hallway. The other person's room door slowly opened as I could only watch in horror. Was this person going to kill me? Maybe I'm a little too paranoid!!

"Please help me!!! Is anyone there!?!"

A girl? I thought I just heard a guy talking? There must be more than just two people in that room. . . My heart was beating so fast I couldn't keep up with it. "Hold on", I said. "I'm coming over to help." The floor creaked a bit as I wobbled over to the girl's room. I grabbed the door and heaved it open. What I saw surprised me.

"What?"

No one was there. Am I hallucinating? I stepped into the room and took a look around. The room had a single lamp on and the bed was terribly made. Most of the blanket weighed to one edge of the bed. The window was cover with light pink curtains and no light shown through them. What a nice room. Better than mine... I made my way over to them and shivered slightly. "Geez. It's kinda cold in here. Also, why is it so dark," I said. My fingers brushed past the fabric and I tightly gripped onto its soft cloth. I separated the material only to see no light. The windows were boarded up with wooden planks and metal screws. Where the heck am I. I began to shake a bit and slowly backed up. Am I really trapped in a strange hospital? The blanket on the bed slid to the floor and my feet back peddled. My head felt kinda numb and I backed straight into the bed knocking down a glass of water from the nightstand. The glass shattered on the ground and I flinched at its sudden noise. If you couldn't tell, I don't work well under pressure. My body tensed up and I start to freak out. Slowly I crouched to the ground, picking up the small fragments. Everything will be alright... I just know it! As fast as the confidence came it instantly perished as soon as a shard dug into my thumb. I whimpered slightly and fell back. "Oh my god! Help! The glass is stuck in my finger! Hel-!" Something soft wrapped around my neck and my voice instantly cracked. "SHO-HOT!!!!" I grabbed the cloth around my esophagus and scratched at the person's hands. They were going to kill me!

I heard them gasp and their grip got lighter. This was my only chance. My neck yanked free and my whole body fell forward. I scramble towards the nightstand and picked up a shard of glass. The shiny object was pointed toward this foul enemy. "I demand you tell me who you are, you... you... you indecent human!" Although I had the upper hand, my fear started to weigh me down. The person in front of me stood up and brushed off their gown angerly. "If anything, you should tell ME who YOU are... It's not nice to just kidnap people and throw them into a hospital you idiot!!" Uhhhhhhhh... What!?! He thinks I kidnapped him?! "Woah, Woah, Woah!!! You must be mistaken! I didn't bring you here; hell, I don't even know where or why we're here." His icy blue eyes narrowed a bit and he scoffed. " Are you really telling the truth. 'Cause if you're not, I will not hesitate to beat you up..."

"Honest! I swear on Alfred Hitchcock's grave!"

The boy's face softened and he smiled. "I don't know who the hell that is, but I can tell you're being sincere. Alrighty, I guess I'ma trust you a little bit." The atmosphere became calmed so I dropped the sharp crystal and leaned up against the wall. We sighed at the same time and tried to calm down our beating hearts. He looks pretty well kept. That must mean he came here around the same time I did. If not the exact time. I dared to take a glance at him and absorbed his features. His hair was swept to the left and his blue eyes were shaped like large almonds. His gown didn't seem to be cheap, but it wasn't all that expansive, either. Their captors might have even found them in a GoodWell for all I know. It wasn't too different from mine. Both of them were probably the same price, but they were bought at different places. Mine was blue and he had a light purple one with green splotches. Yes, it was kinda cooler than my basic blue one. But hey, beggars can't be choosey!! His hair did compliment his eyes and gown well. It had a reddish brown hue and glittered in the lamps weak light. If he were in a film, he would be the perfect protagonist. Just look at his strong jaw and chiseled cheeks. He must have caught me staring because he snorted. "Are you into guys or something?" I whipped my head around and my mouth hung open. "Huh?" He crouched near me and repeated, " Do you like guys? You started staring at me. You also started to drool a bit." My cheeks reddened and quickly I denied his claims. "No, no, no!! I'm as straight as a line! Uh... That's not... I'm just a filmer! I take videos and stuff like that. I like finding real-life people that are perfect to be actors or actresses. Am I making sense? I'm starting to confuse myself now... It's a little embarrassing to explain, really. I just thought you'd be the perfect main role in a comedy or even a horror movie. Like, seeing you could make many girls enjoy a good rom-com!" I kept rambling and he patiently waited until I realized what I just did. "Uhhhh... S-sorry. I get really excited when talking about my passion." The boy shifted on his toes and gently sat on the ground. "That's totally fine, dude. I also ramble when it comes to my passion. Sometimes I even-"

"-talk like this, hun! Don't worry 'bout me! I can talk how'ver I please!! Orrrr-"

"Like this, baka! Just shut up already! Geez..." Instantly it clicked. A girl and a boy in the same room? I was being stupid. "So... You are a voice actor?" His head bobbed slightly and I gasped. "You are good looking AND have an amazing voice!! That's like, a double role!!" His smile widened and chuckled a little. "Oh, by the way! My name is Ozaki Haruhiko. The almost Ultimate Filmmaker. What's your name?" The boy looked as if he were about to say something but clamped his mouth shut and whipped his head around. "Hey, you alright? Did you hear something?" He quickly got up and swiftly walked towards the door. All I could do was follow. This dude is a bit weird, but I think he is the perfect character for his role. The 'Strong, Witty Achiever-that-builds-his-friends-up' type of role. We were halfway there until the door slid shut. I squeaked and jumped away from the now closed exit. He looked at me and frowned. The mysterious door-closer stifled a giggle and began their work. They paused for a second and then returned to what they were doing. "H-Hey! Who are you, and what are you doing?!" The boy swiftly covered my mouth and shushed me. "Dude, wrong move, man. We have to wait until they are finished!" I blinked a few times. What is he doing? If you wait too long they could leave or get in. Why is he acting stupid? The noise outside the door instantly stopped. It left as fast as it came. I pushed him off me and reached for the door's grooved, handle. He followed swiftly behind me arguing until we reached it. The door slid open and something above the frame made a clicking sound. We both looked up at the same time to see a few weights dangling over them. That's when it happened. A voice answered their fears with a sweet and bubbly tone.

"Gotcha!"

And it fell too fast for them to stop.
