Part Nine: He Found Me

  My ramen rested on my chest, and I slowly breathed. A knock banged loudly. It echoed through the house, and through my mind. My heart started to quicken, as well as my breath. I wasn't in the mood if it was Ethan and I definitely didn't want to see him.
  I tried to ignore it. I really did. But the banging continued. It filled my mind, my thoughts. There was only one way out. Answer the door.
  Shaking, I stood up. Placed my ramen down, and made my way over to the door. The doorknob was cold against my hand as I slowly twisted it. Then slowly opened it.
  "Ah, is the princess comes out of her castle." My eyes widen, filling with tears but I sucked them back. Denying what I wanted to do, cry.
  "What are you doing here, Alex?" I squeaked.
  "I'm surprised to remember my name," his voice stopped. I took a moment to look at him.
  His dirty blonde hair, waved in front of his face. His brown eyes shone in the light, but somehow still appeared dark, on the inside too. I looked towards his face, a smirk was formed.
  "But I'm not here for some reunion," Alex stopped again, "I'm here to take what's mine."
  I swallowed down, breathing deeply, "and what would that be?"
  "You." More echoing was occurring in my mind.
  "No. You know what you did, I told you never again."
  "It was a mistake baby." My spine chilled.
  "Getting drunk and beating the shit out of me then kissing other girls is a mistake?" Tears were closer to falling.
  "It was."
  "No." I wouldn't give in this time. His hand moved up to my head and stroked my cheek, running his fingers through my hair.
  "Please?"
  "Just leave." Sorrow left his face, and anger filled it up instead. His brows furrowed. Face turned red.
  "I'm not giving up."
  "You are right now," I started to close the door. His face stared back at me until it was fully close.
  I hate him. But something in my mind ached. He's not giving up. He's coming back.
