Day 5: Getting To Know The Neighbors

"Isn't this fun?" Robyn says with enthusiasm. "Yeah..." Kris and Phoebe both say sarcastically. "Can't we go get something to eat?" Kris begs Robyn. "We can't go anywhere until we unpack all of our things." Robyn says enforce-fully. "Pleaseee Robyn, Gingy is starving!" Phoebe says to Robyn. "No." Robyn says. "Fine then me and Phoebe will just go get something to eat." Kris says. "Let's go Phoebe." Kris adds. "Yay!" Phoebe screams, very excited. "No you guys can't go! We have to unpack! Oh wait up." Robyn says, giving in. When Robyn, Kris and Phoebe get there, they all were shocked as to who came in. "Is it spicy?" Phoebe asked the waiter. "For the millionth time Phoebe it is not mild salsa, mild salsa is not spicy!!" Robyn shouts at Phoebe. "Well i'm just making sure!" Phoebe shouts back. "Because the last time Gingy ate something spicy, someone spilled salsa on his head, and we had to do something tragic, we had...to...wash him." Phoebe whispers to the waiter tearing up. "Omg he is a stuffed gingerbread man!!! He is not real!" Robyn screams, getting really frustrated with Phoebe. "Quite down, people are starting to stare." Kris says to Robyn, as Kris and Robyn are arguing, in walks Darren. Kris spot him, pushes the waiter out of the way and runs into Darren's arms. "I missed you sooo much! Being with Robyn and Phoebe is torturous." Kris says to Darren as he is holding her. "Hey! It's just Phoebe who is the crazy one!" Robyn yells to Kris, and Kris not paying any attention, and Phoebe is singing a song to Gingy, that she wrote herself, so people started to leave. 'i'm gonna go with Darren now, see ya later." Kris says to Phoebe and Robyn. "So what are you going to order?" (Robyn is very bipolar;) 'I don't know I might get the burrito, or the chicken salad, or the cow heart-" Phoebe explains to Robyn, but before Phoebe got to finish, Robyn interrupted her. "The cow heart?! There's no cow heart!" As Phoebe and Robyn are arguing, Riker, his siblings, and his best friend walks in. When Phoebe sees him, her heart skips a beat. "See there is no cow heart on this menu, I mean why would Taco Topia have a cow heart on there menu?" Robyn says, still freaking out over the cow heart. "Phoebe...what are you looking at?" Robyn asks looking in Phoebe's direction. "Is that the random guy who was throwing rocks at our window?" Robyn asks Phoebe. "Shhhh, they might hear you." Phoebe says. "No they won't, or maybe they do, because that guy is coming over." Robyn says slowly getting quieter as Riker gets closer to Phoebe and Robyn's booth. "Hey Phoebe!" Riker greets Phoebe. "Oh hi Riker, I didn't see you there." Phoebe lies. Robyn is giving Phoebe a look like don't lie, lying is bad. "What's that?" Riker asks pointing to Gingy. "Um, it's Robyn's." Phoebe's hesitates. "She likes me to next next to him, I don't know why." Phoebe whispers to Riker, Riker just smiles at Phoebe. "So I was wondering, we have this BBQ tomorrow night, do you and your friend want to come? It would be cool to get to know you." Riker asks Phoebe. "Ok! :)" Phoebe says enthusiastically. "Ok cool see you tomorrow." Riker says and leaves to his booth, the rest of Phoebe and Robyn's dinner, Phoebe was just staring at Riker, surprisingly he didn't notice and neither did his siblings nor did his best friend. When Phoebe and Robyn finished their dinner they walked home. "That was so good, we should go there a lot more often." Robyn says. "Defiantly." Phoebe agrees. "You know you need to be more suddle with you crush." Robyn says to Phoebe. "What? I don't like him." Phoebe protests. "Well i just thought because you were staring-" Phoebe skipped away before Robyn could say anymore. The next morning Robyn woke up bright and early, and made a breakfast. Kris woke up and looked like a mess. "Woah there, isn't it a little early to be making Halloween costumes?" Robyn slams Kris. "I'm not in the mood Frankenstein." Kris slams back. "What time did you get in last night?" Robyn asks. "Not 'til 2 int he morning. Kris replies. Phoebe walks out all bright and happy, too happy, it's like she ate a whole batch of green cookies. "Why are you so happy?" Kris asks Phoebe. "Oh please son't tell me you ate more green cookies!" Robyn says very scared and concerned. "no that reminds me I need to make more." Phoebe replies. "If your not high on green cookies, then why are you so happy? It's kinda scary." Kris says to Phoebe. "It's just a pretty day." Phoebe says. "It's raining." Robyn replies, trying to be a genus, as usual. "What?" Phoebe asks Robyn. "Rain is where water drops from the sky." Robyn explains to Phoebe. "Really?! No way! That is so cool!" Phoebe says very fascinated. The day passes by slowly, Robyn is off doing her grocery shopping and studying, Kris is catching up with Darren because it's only been 7 hours, and Phoebe just sits there watching the rain fall, waiting for the BBQ Riker is hosting. When that time rolled around, Phoebe is on Robyn's case to hurry up, while panicking. "Phoebe calm down!" Robyn tells Phoebe. "What if they don't like me??" Phoebe says pacing back and forth. "They will, where's Kris??" Robyn asks herself. "No need to panic no more, I am here." As Kris enters their apartment. "It's about time you got here, we have to go in 5 minutes and Phoebe is freaking out!" Robyn shouts to Kris. "Wait where are we going? What happened? What did I miss?" Kris asks Robyn. "We are going to Riker's house for a BBQ." Robyn reassures Kris. "Ooohh, is he that cute blonde guy from across the street throwing rocks at our window?" Kris asks. "That's him." Robyn says. "But I already have plans with Darren, you sort of got in the way of our movie date, well it's not like we were actually going to watch the movie." Kris tells Robyn. "TMI and we really need to go." Robyn says to Kris, when they knock on the door, Riker's sister, Rydel answers the door. "Hi! You guys must be the new people across the street, I'm Rydel." Rydel greets Robyn, Kris, and Phoebe. "Hi" they all greet Rydel. "Come on in, everyone is in the backyard, here I will show you the way." Rydel says as she leads them out to the backyard. Riker is in the back with his friends Curt and Titus, Riker see Phoebe and immediately walks over to her. "So glad you could make it!" Riker says to them. "This is Ross, Rocky, Ryland, Titus, Curt, and that's Ratliff, and I can see you met Rydel. Ross, Rocky, and Ryland are my brothers and Rydel is my sister." Riker explains. "It's very nice to meet you all." Robyn says. "Hi." Kris says so suddle. "Wow that's a lot of names to remember." Phoebe says. "Hahaha your really funny." Rocky says. "Ok dinner is ready!" Rydel shouted to everyone. "Riker, Rocky, Ross, and Ryland you guys better like it, it took 2 days to make this." Rydel says to them, as there not listening. After everyone ate they all played soccer, except for Robyn, Curt, Ryland, and Kris. Hours past which seemed like minutes, this is the most fun Robyn, Kris, and Phoebe have had. "Well it's about time we go." Robyn says. "Yeah." Kris agrees. "Are you sure you don't want to stay?" Riker says. "We're sure." Robyn just making their decisions for them. "Ok fine, can I at least walk you home?" Riker asks Phoebe. "Yeah, sure." Phoebe got caught off guard. As Riker was walking Phoebe home, they couldn't stop talking, Kris and Robyn sped ahead so they don't have to be standing outside in the cold all night. When Riker and Phoebe reached her apartment, they talked for 30 minutes. "I should go now, Kris and Robyn are waiting for me, goodnight." Phoebe says to Riker. "Goodnight." Riker says right back.
