"Come on, Arin!" Ross laughed at him, "Just go hit on someone, it isn't that hard!"
"Ross, I don't want to" Arin sighed, sipping his coffee, "I don't see anyone. . .my type, in here"
"Don't have to be your type, just give it a shot! Looks aren't everything- unless your as sexy as me" Ross chuckled. Then spotted a girl, hair tied back, skinny frame, great ass. Eh, who cares what the front looks like when the back looks that good? "Hey, that girl over there reading, go hit on her"
". . . Fine" Arin sighed, standing up. This was going to be seriously awkward, but what can he do? Ross isn't going to leave him be until he does it so he guesses he better just get it over and done with.
So he took a deep breath and made his way over, standing a little behind her, "Hey baby, did you fall from heaven cos-"
He started, until chocolate brown eyes hit his. It was a guy. . . well, he could hear Ross laughing in the distance. But Arin shrugged, "Cos you definitely look like an Angel"
"Huh, most guys go away when I turn around, normally because they mistook me for a girl" he said, shrugging, "Guessing your bi?"
"Actually, I'm gay" he said, rubbing the back of his neck, "I just hadn't told my friend yet, who made me go talk to you, thinking you were a girl"
"I hate guys like that" Danny sighed, "Come sit with me. Though I will carry on reading my book"
"Alright, cool dude" he said, sitting down with him to Ross' confusion, "I'll play Mario"
Danny went back to reading for a little, but then he looked up at the other male, "So, I'm Danny by the way"
"I'm Arin" he said, not looking up from his game. Playing on his DS, he is in his own little world, "So you come here often?"
"Yeah, normally to read" he said, watching Arin. Well, Arin is beautiful. . . that something he can't deny. "Oh, I'm Jewish by the way"
"Trying tactics to scare me away?" Arin laughed, "That's fine with me. I mean, Jewish or not you're really hot"
"Someone has self confidence" Danny laughed, "When you see something you like- you go for it, huh?"
"And I hate to loose" he added, still transfixed on his game, "So I don't loose, I get what I want cos I work for it. Unless I get bored"
"So you're trying to 'win' me over, huh?" Danny joked. Then rolled his eyes, "What's that good about Mario an-"
"How dare you offend my religion like that" Arin grumbled. He got up, then sat himself right next to Danny. Suddenly, he shoved the DS into Danny's hand and gave him a quick overview of the controls, "Now play"
"Woah okay, yes Sir" he laughed, starting to play. He noticed Arin was now seeming to be more looking at him rather than the game, which made him a little nervous but what can you do. It was clear the guy kind of likes him so.
Ross, meanwhile, was watching from the other side of the diner. He took pictures so he can blackmail Arin later with them to make gay jokes. Unaware he's actually gay.
Ross always thought Arin could tell him anything. After all, they've been friends for years. But no, Arin knew Ross enjoyed to mock him and he wasn't adding fuel to the flames. Only a mad man would do that to himself. Arin wasn't that crazy.
"Hey, you're not doing bad" Arin said, "Sooo, wanna come back to mine?"
"You're too confident" Danny laughed, "How about I give you my number instead" Danny said, giving Arin is DS back. He packed up his things before handing Arin a note and walking out.
