It was a cold winters night. Jackson was tired from a long days work at the office. He didn't want to be late for dinner but when he checked his new watch his girlfriend gave him for his birthday he realized he was already 30 minutes late. He started driving faster, thank goodness he wasn't caught by the police or else he would've been even more late than he already was. As he pulled up to the driveway he noticed that all the lights were off but one, the kitchen, as he ascended the stairs to the front porch he pulled out his keys and unlocked the door. he noticed a faint smell of cinnamon as he walked in the door. he was to tired he completely forgot about going in to the kitchen to check on his girlfriend. as he sat on the sofa he could already feel the tiredness sweep over him. Just as he was about to fall asleep two hands enveloped his eyes. "Guess who," said a very familiar voice. *In a sarcastic tone* "Hmm I don't know, Spider man?" "No silly its me Camryn," she said with amused tone. She kissed him on the cheek then sighed. "You're late," she said sadly. "I know Sweetie I just got caught up at work, even when I did leave traffic was terrible." " and that's not the worst part." "I completely forgot to get a present for our 1 year anniversary." She leaned over to give him a kiss. " its alright I forgive you, nothing you do is going to make me stop loving you." " thanks Camryn I could've never asked for a better girlfriend."
