Alexander examined the greenish blue sea, the foam rising and falling from the ship's movement. He had just snuck on this boat to leave the terror that is the Caribbean around a week ago. There had been constant fear on the ship since so many could be sick and die, turning into one of the walking dead. Alexander hadn't been able to get real sleep because of this. He looked around the boat, seeing the other people doing their own thing. Some were huddling together in a corner, some throwing up from sea sickness.

Few minutes passed as Alex could barely see the land, all its miles away. He got excited at the thought of being in a place with some kind of control in it. He couldn't help but think of what he could eat there since he hadn't had much food for quite awhile. Alex had started to drift from the calming sound of the motor and the splashing of the sea. And soon, he had fallen asleep.

Alexander was woken up around an hour later by one of the men who worked on the ship. Alex wiped his face with his hands as he got off the ship's rail to get off. He felt much more energetic, but there wasn't much of a difference in his energy. He walked off the ship and looked at the area around him. There wasn't as many people as he thought there would be, but maybe that was a good thing.

There wasn't really a big crowd in New York, but, hey, it made some things a bit easier. Alex could feel the hunger in his stomach and immediately looked for a market. He quickly found one, full to the brim with booths. Alex noticed one with some bread. 'Looks easiest to take from...' He thought readying himself for a chase.

He slowly walked with the crowd, sneaking his way through as if he was going to just walk past the booth. He carefully grabbed a loaf of bread and kept walking. The man at the booth started to shout at him and he began a run. Sometimes he just stole things for the excitement of the chase.

Alex quickly lost the booth owner and looked at his loaf of bread with a sense of achievement. He licked his lips hungrily and got ready to take a bite.

"Hey you!" A voice called to him before he could even bite the bread. A man with a dark skin tone wearing a black coat with gray pants and dark colored boots. His hair was short and he looked questioningly at Alex. "What do you think you're doing stealing a loaf of bread?" The man asked. Alex gripped the loaf tightly, squinting his eyes at the man and replied with a sense of hostility. "What's it to you?"

"Well, in the city of New York you can get found by the authorities and get arrested for theft."

"Why on earth do you care?"

"Because I know you just arrived here on a ship, so maybe I could give you some advice."

Alex looked at the man suspiciously. "Who are you?"

"My name is Aaron Burr, sir." The man replied calmly.

"Well, Mr. Burr, sir." Hamilton started. "You needn't worry about me, for everything is free if you run fast enough."

"Really? Well a word of warning, uh, um..."

"Alexander Hamilton."

"Alright Hamilton, a word of warning. If there is more you want to get away with, you better learn to talk less and smile more."

"What?"

"You can't let them know what you're against or what you're for. Good day, Hamilton."

Aaron Burr walked off leaving Hamilton by himself. "Tsk. I'm not doing that, I gotta make things happen." Alex whispered to himself. "Just you wait, world. Just you wait, I'm gonna do great things!"
