(This whole story is told in Daniels POV)
I was scrolling threw YouTube one day until I found this YouTube channel I clicked on it and I watched one of the videos. It looked and sounded just like Joey. Then I saw that he had a book coming out, he had a meet and greet right around where I live, I have to see if it's really him.
I got stand drive to the library where he was at. I got out of my car and walked inside. Before I left I got tickets so hopefully they work.
When the lady took her ticket she said "Just go right threw there to take a picture with him."
I said "Thank you."
I walked in and I saw him hugging and taking pictures with preteen girls.
Then I saw Hope walk up to me she said "You need to leave."
I said "I wanted to see if that's really Joey."
She said "It's really him and he can't see you."
I said "Why not?"
She said "Leave Daniel!"
I said "No."
She said "Fine."
She walked away and then it was my turn. I walked up to him and he said "Hi, I'm so glad you came."
I took a deep breath and said "Hi baby."
He said "Excuse me."
I said "I-it's Daniel."
He said "W-Wait what?"
I said "Daniel Preda."
I saw a tear stroll down his face and he said "Oh my god daddy I'm so sorry I left."
He hopped up into my arms and I Kissed him on the cheek.
I looked behind me and saw tons of girls recording us on their phones.
He said "Daddy I missed you."
I said "I missed you to baby."
He said "I have to finish taking pictures with them, bu-but can you stay."
I said "Of course."
He said "Ok thank you Daddy."
He said "Just wait over there, I'll
Be done soon."
I walked over to where he pointed and I Waited for him.
This girl walked up to me and said "Why did Joey call you Daddy?"
I said "Because, um."
Joey walked over to me and said "We're done."
I smiled and said "Ok baby."
Joey said "And who is this?"
I said "Whats your name?"
She said "My name is Ashley and this is my friend Emily." As she pulled this other girls arm.
Joey said "Well, umm just because."
Joey took me by the wrist and tugged me outside to his car.
I got in and he said "I'm sorry I left you, you probably hate me."
I said "Baby, I could never hate you."
He looked over at me and said "Your not mad?"
I said "I was just sad that my favorite person in the world left me."
I saw a shy smile creep up on his face.
He got on top of me and said "I missed you daddy."
I said "It's been a while since I've heard that name."
He said "D-did you get anyone else?"
I said "Like a new baby?"
I saw him frown a bit as he nodded his head.
I said "Of course not."
I said "Do you want to go home, I can make you dinner."
He said "Whose house?"
I said "You chose."
I said "Want to go to our old house?"
He said "Sure."
I got in the drivers seat and we drove to my house. When we pulled up into the driveway he admittedly got out of the car. I followed behind him to unlock the door and he walked in.
I closed the door behind us and I said "This is it."
He asked "D-do you still have my old room?"
I said "Yes, but don't go up there."
I saw him run up the stairs and I followed behind him and he opened the door and looked around.
He said "Y-you kept everything."
I said "Yeah."As I sat on the bed. He looked around the room then went over to his desk. I was so confused why he wasn't weirded out that I haven't kept everything.
He said "W-where are the d-dogs?"
I said "My friend is dog sitting for me."
He sat on my lap as he said "Daddy, can I live here?"
I said "Yes baby of course."
He smiled and said "Daddy?"
I said "What baby?"
He looked me in the eyes and said "I-I-I f-found-"
I cut him off and said "Found a what?"
He quickly said "A new daddy."
I pushed him off of my lap and I stood up. I said "Are you fucking kidding me Joseph?"
He said "Daddy that hurt."
I said "I'm not your daddy and I don't give a fu-" I stopped as I looked down and saw him in tears.
I picked him up and laid him on the bed.
He said "D-d-Daddy, m-my back."
I lifted his shirt and I saw a big bruise on his back from one of the legs on the desk.
Then I looked more and found those scares, he still had after all these years.
I said "W-who was your other Daddy?"
He said "Shane."
I said "Did you just say Shane?"
He slowly turned around and said "He helped me get dressed like you did and he fed me and help me take showers and he even helped me start my YouTube channel."
I said "Did he have sex with you?"
He said "Only when I was ok with it, but if I did it was only with Garrett or drew or Ryland or Shane."
I said "Do you still live with him?"
He nodded his head and I took him out of the house and I made him show me where he lived. We pulled up into this big driveway and I saw a huge mansion. I walked out and Joey followed, I banged on the door and Shane answered.
Part 2 of listen what do you think??? I know it's not the best but I feel like I have some good ideas with this book.... also happy thanksgiving, but I'm celebrating thanksgiving tomorrow since everyone had work today...
