Lilly's pov
After everyone stopped crying and hugging me we walked into the theme park and there were rides everywhere (A/N if you've ever been to Alton Towers I'm going to base it off of there) we all decided that we'd split up into the people who were going on the rides and the people who were holding the bags. So myself, Rebecca and Rachel went on the big rides whilst Colleen and Kory trailed behind occasionally enjoying some of the smaller rides; "smaller rides" meaning the cafés and the Hook-A-Ducks that were scattered amongst the park.
After a solid two hours of wandering aimlessly around BrummyPark and running onto the rides with the shorter queues, we realised that we had walked into the gardens and had no idea how to get out. The large trees and ornaments surrounding the area blocked our view of Colleen and Kory who we assumed were behind us the entire time. After several minutes of panicking, Rachel pulled out her phone and called Colleen.
(3rd person POV)
~Phone Call that's on speaker~
Rachel- Hello.
Colleen- Hey, where are you? Me and Kory have been sat by the water feature waiting for you guys to get off of the ride!
Rebecca- What water feature?
Kory- The one opposite the "Wooden Coaster", obviously.
The trio couldn't help but face palm stifle laughter as they heard this,
Colleen- What!? What's so funny?
Lilly- Colleen, dear...
Colleen- What Lilly Darling?
Lilly- we were on that ride 2 hours about!!
The group couldn't contain their laughter as they heard the sound of realisation from the iconic duo on the phone.
Rebecca- Guys, how did you do that?!
Colleen- we got a little distracted...
Rachel- Distracted? By what!?
Kory- (muttering) The hot men that they hire here.
Colleen- Kory!
Rachel- Colleen!
Kory- Hey hey hey don't yell at me, I'm still on he market!
Lilly- And that is why you're single, my little gay fish.
Kory- ugh I hate that you're right! Anyway, start walking back to us and we'll go back into the cute café with the hot men...
Rachel- Erm about that... we're kind of lost in the gardens...
Colleen- Retrace your footsteps and meet us at the café, bye!
~Call Over~
<time skip to them out of the park>
(Lily's POV)
It's now about 5:30 and we're walking back from the park and towards the hotel that my friends are booked in at.
"So, Lilly." Rachel starts,
I nod towards her, indicating for her to continue as I internally groan as I mentally prepare myself for the random nonsense that is about to come out of her this time.
"I heard from a little birdy that you can sing..." she smirked whilst holding out her phone and showing a video of me singing quietly on one of the group calls when I thought that I had hung up.
Everyone stopped in their tracks to hear me attempt to sing whilst I visibly cringe.
"What made you bring this up?" I ask already worried about the answer.
"Okay I'll take it from here" Colleen announces as she grabs my arm so I am fully facing her.
"Miranda and I need a singing partner for the opening section of my part and you would be perfect for it!"
I stare at her blankly
"So? What do you think...?"
