I take the last shot of the girl and look at the screen on my Canon camera. Her image shows up on the small screen. She had blonde hair, pail skin, long legs, big boobs and hips and she looks flawless. Perfect. Just like every other model I've taken pictures of.
"Ok, we're done. Go get dressed. You'll get paid on your way out." I say and wave her off as if I've dismissed her. She pouts and asks for more. "Sorry ma'am. We have the 500 photos we need. That is more than plenty. Now go get dressed." She walks up behind me and embraces me. She reaches her hands around and feels my sculpted body.
"What do I have to do for you for you to take some pictures of us? One...on...one?" She asks, and bites my ear gently. I just chuckle and set my camera down on the table and remove her hands from my chest and turn around.
"Ma'am, you are a model, and my job is to take pictures of you." I look into her eyes and give her a smart ass smile. "Nothing else. I roughly push her hands down and turn around. "Now get out of my studio." I start disassembling my camera and putting it in its bag.
"Are you gay something?!" She screeched. "Ugh!" Then she walks to the back to get dressed and I just laugh.
"Well that was rude, and by the way, this is my studio." I turn to see Deena. My manager and good friend. She's pointing at her chest and walks over to me and pokes my side. "Keep treating my clients that way, they'll never come back." She says with a smile.
"Oh and what a shame that would be." I say sarcastically. "One out of your...MILLION...clients won't come back." I raise my voice playfully and hand the memory card of my camera. She takes it and hits my chest. I just laugh and look down at her. Kind of sucks being so tall sometimes. I'm 6'7 and Deena is 5'6. I'm practically a full foot taller than her. I rest my hands on the table and sigh. "Sorry boss...I shouldn't have done that.." I apologize because she knows that the models are just trying to make their career stronger and they're willing to do anything to get further.
"Look Tyler, I know you want to take your career further just like these girls, so treat them with respect. Please?" She asks. I scoff and turn towards her.
"How can I do that if they don't respect themselves?" I ask Deena. Deena has been like a mother too me ever since she saw me at the park with my camera at the age of 15. She saw a kid with brown hair, blue eyes, and just laughing as he took pictures of people in the park. With the same camera I have now. She walked up to me and started talking to me and asked to see the pictures I took. She scanned through my pictures and she became memorized. She offered me to take pictures for her. Since I was homeless and an orphan, she took me in. She was 23, and I was only 15. I've been working for her and been her son for the 13 years. I don't see her as a mom, but she is the mother figure in my life.
"I know what will fix you up. Remember that model Diana?" Deena said.
"Yeah, why?" I said.
"She has a thing for you. You should ask her out." She offered. I laughed out loud and threw shook my head.
"Not a chance. Not my type." I say.
"What straight man in his right mind would say no to a model?" Deena asked shocked.
"I don't want a model D, I want a modest young lady who loves me for who I am. Who sees...more than a flash of a camera when they think of me." I say and hang my head as I lean on the table. "But I can not find a girl like that in this life time, because every time I tell them what I do for a living, they want me to take pictures of them. I'm tired of people asking me to take pictures of them the first time I meet them...." I say, and Deena grabs my arm gently.
"Tyler, you are a loving and attractive young man. You'll find that girl. Just wait. I have a feeling you will find her soon." She smiled and showed me the memory card from my camera. "Should these be fine for this years calendar?' I just nodded, and she walked out. "Lock up when you leave." I nod and wave good bye. I look around when she's gone and call for the blonde that was supposed to be getting dressed.
