I sat down in front of my mom giving her a piece of paper. She read what's written but confusion is through out her face.
"Ano to nak?." Tanong niya, tila nag aalala.
"Romeo once asked me to bring the stars." I said to her, na may halong lungkot saking mga mata.
I am 26, and getting married to the love of my life sa susunod na buwan.
But there's this force sa kaloob looban ko na pinipilit akong mag back out.
"Sinong Romeo? Wait--are you cheating on Diego?!."
"Ma,wait. You're overreacting again. Chill okay? It's just that, I want you to help me decide whether ipapatuloy ko ba tong kasalang to or--"
"Mahal mo naman siya diba? And we all know he can make you happy--"
Wait, masaya ba ako? Of course! I should be. He's my fiance.
Napaisip nalang ako.
"Sige, iiwan muna kita. Pag-isipan mo yang mabuti. Your wedding is next month and everything is already fixed, you can't just back out anak. Kung ano man yang bumabagabag sayo, fix it before it could complicate things." Sabi ni mama at umalis na.
Sigh.
