richie gnawed on his sleeve of his sweatshirt, beverly's words replaying in his head like a broken record. he fiddled with his phone, turning it on and off repeatedly.
what would he even say? his fingers hovered over the keypad before finally typing a message.

richie paced his room, watching the screen intensively for eddie's text to pop up.
after a few minutes, richie pouted, typing in another message.

another ten minutes passed by. richie didn't want to seem to desperate and was about to quit when eddie texted him. he practically squeaked with joy before calming down and reading the messages.
