Aubrey's POV
**************

Three years. 1,095 days since we had defeated Tabitha. It seems like the event was just yesterday when I pulled the dagger from my chest and used it to execute her. I enjoyed watching her die, as dark as it is. She can't terrorize my friends and I anymore.

Fantasy is still the leader of the YSA, and he's been doing a pretty good job with it. He's the one who founded the League of Agents, after all. Now, all agencies work together to kill all enemies in their paths. Nightshade is our representative, and he's been a helpful one at that. We've eradicated almost all antagonists.

Shadow's brother has been keeping Floor 2 bustling, with a bunch of new restaurants and shops. Floor 1 has been expanded, so it isn't so cramped. Floor 3 has been updated with the newest technology, the same with our jumpsuits. Our suits are a dark purple now, with matching boots and a lighter shade of this hue for the luminescence underneath them.

I've been a supervisor for new agents, and there's more every generation. Tons of eager people join the YSA every day, and it's actually pretty fun. I love my life here, I wouldn't trade it for the world.

"Aubrey! You have to get up!!" My sister yells in my face, a normal routine.

I groan, opening my eyes to meet Emma's. "I don't wanna. Let's take a sick day."

"No way! It's exam week for the trainees, and we can't miss it!" Emma grins wide.

"Fiiine," I yawn loudly and sit up.

Emma giggles and runs out of my room. She's still the bubbly girl she was three years ago. We live in what the YSA calls a "bubble home." All licensed agents stay in these places. It basically is a floating house that is connected to headquarters, with a protective barrier around it that's in the shape of a bubble. It's pre-furnished, a modern styled building.

Five agents, including Emma and myself, live here. The other three are Shadow, Ten, and Kieran. All had matured quite handsomely, in fact, they get showered with flirtatious remarks from girls and boys. Some of these people are either younger or older than us. Shadow usually reacts to this by saying he has a girlfriend (Obviously me). And since the other two young men are always together, Ten kisses Kieran while flipping off the person that's flirting with either of them.

I fuss for a little more until I finally drag myself out of bed. My once short dark hair, which now fell to my waist, was messy and like a lion's tangled mane. My bright blue eyes had what I called "eye boogers" in the corners of them, and I pick them out with my purple manicured fingernails. My lips are chapped, but this is nothing new in the early hours of the day.

I can hear Shadow snoring on the couch, for he had some late night work to do at headquarters, thus he fell asleep on this piece of furniture in the living room. I walk to the bathroom near my bedroom, and see the tired looking and borderline grimy face that is mine.

Better take a shower, since I look grubby, I thought. I look to my left, at the doorway of the bathroom, and see Ten. His face is scrunched in disgust, and then he chuckles.

"Hey, shorty. I didn't know you were the wicked witch under all that makeup," he teases.

"I don't wear much makeup, jerk," I spat at him.

He's not wrong about the "shorty" part, hence why I didn't mention that in my remark. I only grew one and a half inches in the three years since Tabitha, while Ten has grown to a staggering five feet and nine inches. Nearly four more inches than his height as a 14 year old.

Ten ruffles my hair and grins before walking down the stairs to the first floor. I roll my eyes and shut the bathroom door. Grabbing a towel from the cabinet, I set it on the toilet, which sits next to the shower/tub. I strip off my pajamas, tossing them in the dirty clothes hamper. Turning on the shower, I wait patiently as the water warms. As soon as it is at the appropriate temperature, I step in. I sigh as the pleasant liquid splashes onto my cold body. I first wet my hair, and secondly grab my shampoo, which is strawberry scented. I wash my hair, making sure to get every strand clean.

The door to the washroom opens, and I jump.

"Who's there?" I ask.

"Sorry, Aubs! I was just gonna grab a 'feminine product' for your sister," Kieran opens the cabinet underneath the sink.

I laugh, my sister is always moody like this when her month starts. Kieran soon leaves once he grabs a pad or tampon or whatever. I rinse the shampoo from my hair, and put in conditioner on the ends. I wash my form with milk and honey scented body wash, and cleanse the conditioner from my split ends. I turn off the water, and grab the towel. I dry the mop on my head and my build.

I get out of the shower and walk to my room, the white rectangular fabric wrapped around me, covering my boobs. I get dressed, throwing on my jumpsuit and boots over my undergarments. I sigh and walk back to the powder room, straightening my hair and put a little makeup on.

I waltz down the stairs, glancing at sleeping Shadow. He's snoring softly, and I smile and kiss his cheek. He turns over, his back facing me. I stroke his hair quickly and walk to the kitchen.
Kieran is in there, making pancakes and bacon, a usual Friday morning breakfast. I sit on a barstool at the island, next to Emma, who's already eating.

"Where's Ten?" I look at Kieran as he puts two pancakes on the plate in front of me.

"There's supposed to be some new agent joining, so he's going to meet them. I heard the kid is 19 or something. They just arrived to the agency. Ten already ate breakfast real quick" Kieran puts bacon on the plate.

"That's odd. A person that arrives to the agency at the age of 19?" I crunch on a piece of crispy bacon.

"Yep. Fantasy said that he's debating on whether this kid should stay with us. He said Floor 1 might be too much for the trainee."

"Are they shy or something?" Emma asks.

"Supposedly, the kid is emotionally damaged from something in his past. Fantasy thinks that having him stay in Floor 1 would make things worse since there's so many people living down there now. Fantasy said that the trainee might have to stay with us," Kieran turns off the stove.

"I don't care either way, since we only occupy three bedrooms, and there's four here," I eat the pancakes.

"Is Shadow training today?" Emma ponders out loud.

"No, since he worked late. I'll be off too and take care of him," Kieran sits down and eats.

Emma and I finish breakfast, and start to get ready to depart. My sister takes a bit longer than me because she still had to do her hair. Like me, she has also grown out her hair, and hers falls to her collarbone. Her and I leave, and walk to headquarters in the crisp air of the beautiful, summer morning.
