The boy awakens in a pitch black room. Unable to see, he feels around to get a sense of his surroundings. The room feels like it's bouncing, as if it's being pulled and is moving along. The floor upon which he sat was made of sturdy wooden planks

He finds that he has been bandaged on his arm, covering the terrible wound that the beast left him with. He squeals in pain quietly once he touches it. His head is also pounding like a drum. He must've hit his head when he passed out. He also sits awkwardly, as sitting normally hurts terribly for some reason.

A soft whinny is heard from outside and then mumbling from a few voices. A few seconds later, I entered the carriage and lit a lantern.

Unsurprisingly, the boy started squealing menacingly as I entered. Although you could tell he was actually very scared due to the look in his eyes.

"Calm down boy." I told him. " I know who you are. Your name is Beagan Sow."

Beagan looked surprised and still a bit scared, but he had calmed down significantly. He oinked a few times, as if asking how I knew. "How I know doesn't matter right now, all that matters now is that you're alive. My name is Aadi." I said with a calm voice trying to keep poor Beagan from panicking.

As his eyes adjusted to the light, he finally got a good look at me and saw that I was wearing a bright white top hat with a black stripe on it. I was also wearing a white tuxedo and tie with a black shirt underneath. My hair was even longer than his, covering one of my eyes and going down to my chest. The one eye I had exposed was completely white and featureless.

"I know what you're thinking. I am helping you merely following a law of this kingdom: anyone found severely injured shall be taken to the nearest stronghold immediately," I said. "In this case the nearest stronghold is the castle.

He didn't understand what I had said but he didn't seem to care either. He looked like he wanted to escape from me. Beagan was extremely uncomfortable in my presence. He had no social skills as he hadn't seen a person since he was three years old.

"Do not worry I only came in here to feed you." I said as put some food in front of him. "But know that when we get to the castle you will have to be around a lot of people."

Again, he wasn't listening and just stared at the food I had given him so I left the room. As I was leaving however, he noticed the two other figures outside the carriage that were traveling with me. One had no hair and was very tall and thin. His skin was gray. The other was just simply a floating skull. They wore the same outfit I did.

Beagan was startled at their appearance. Unsure of what to do next, he started greedily eating the food I had given him then tried to find a way out without being seen or heard. After eating however, he felt unusually tired and passed out not long after.

I knew that soon we would be at the Castle Saphieran, where poor Beagan would finally get the proper care he needs.
