*Gunner*
"Gunner!" Thomas yelled. "You have to see this!"
"What," I growled leaning back when he shoved his tablet in my face. "What am I looking at?"
"The first attack," Thomas said. "I had been snapping pictures beforehand I couldn't place why this person was familiar and I think I figured it out until we found out Layla was being poisoned and look."
"He's here!" I growled.
"Yes, he might be going after Layla to finish the job," Thomas yelled and I cursed realizing that Layla was at the hospital alone. "Ian is with her but..."
"Get the boys and let them know and for god's sake get Brandon," I said running out the door and into the garage praying I get back to the hospital before that bastard can try anything.
*Ian*
Everyone had left and I was staying with Layla for a few hours, and I was currently sitting beside Layla running a hand through her hair hoping she would open her eyes.
"Please be okay," I whispered. "I just got you back I can't lose you again. Please Princesa(Spanish-princess), please don't leave me."
"Your Highness," a voice said from the door and I saw a nurse standing there. "My name's Nurse Diaz, I'm here to administer Ms.Sandro medication."
Nodded I got up and walked over to the chair where my buzzing phone was laying and I read the texts that Thomas was sending me.
~Thomas: IAN YOU AND LAYLA ARE IN DANGER!
~Thomas: CLOSE AND LOCK THE FUCKING DOOR. GUNNER AND THE OTHERS ARE ON THEIR WAY.
~Thomas: DON'T LET THIS MAN INTO THAT ROOM OR ANYWHERE NEAR YOU OR LAYLA. HE'S THE ONE THAT WAS POISONING LAYLA'S INHALER. HIS NAME IS HARRISON DIAZ!
I stared at the photo before looking up at the nurse and realizing it was the same person as who was in the photo.
"I thought Layla wasn't supposed to get any more medication until tomorrow," I said moving to the foot of the bed watching him freeze after pulling a needle from his shirt pocket. "With the poison, they found in her system they wanted to give her body time to finish fighting it off.
"This is just something to help with that," he said and grabbed his wrist.
"I don't think so sir," I said and the man muttered before trying to stab me with the needle but I moved out of the way and kicking his leg causing him to fall. "You not going to kill her."
"She deserves it for putting my brother's secrets out in that bloody magazine," the man snarled jumping up and I glared tackling him back so Layla didn't get hurt.
"You are not hurt my princess," I snarled trying to restrain him from stabbing me with the needle.
"Should have put a stronger poison in her inhaler," the man yelled and I grunted when he hit my ribs hard. "Then she would have died sooner."
"IAN!" a female's voice yelled and I looked up to see Ariel standing a few feet away but my attention was roughly brought back to the man trying to kill Layla when I felt something sharp stab into my arm and I winced when I was shoved away and I looked at my arm to see the needle still in my arm and the handle press in a little.
"Fuck," I groaned feeling dizzy as I got up leaning against the wall.
"Not feeling so good," the man sneered and I looked up to see him slam Ariel's head into the wall and she collapsed. "That happens with that poison, it moves quickly through the bloodstream."
"You tell me," I snarled lunging forward and shoving the needle into his neck and push the handle all the way down before collapsing to the ground. "No one touches my Princsesa."
The man stared at me for a moment before he collapsed to the ground and not moving again. I was getting dizzier the longer I was standing but I needed to make sure Layla was still okay so I shoved away from the wall and stumbled into her room only to collapse in the doorway. Wincing in pain I crawled over to the bed and grabbed Layla's hand that was hanging off the bed; a few minutes later I heard familiar voices in the hall and I breathed a sigh of relief knowing Layla was now safe and I closed my eyes as everything faded.
