Chapter 3
Tiberius' P.O.V
Obsidian eyes bore into the back on my head, reading my soul like a papyrus scroll. Her visits became more frequent. First every three weeks, then once a week; until now every three days. She just sat, and read; enjoying the comfortable silence we had developed.
She didn't talk much, but when she did I would memorize the way her lips move and curve into small giggles and laughs.
she never chose to express herself fully in my presence, however I could only take in what she could offer. And I would introduce all the small details and habits she had into my already love-sick heart and soul.
The library had grown dull without her soft chuckle and light hearted, shy voice. When we would converse my stomach felt like a stampede of elephants had just passed through.
I was so fascinated by her I was oblivious to how obvious my intentions were on her behalf.
"Good afternoon," she says entering through the large, wooden door. She always came at four; like clockwork, never missing at tick of the hand.
"Afternoon," I smile, turning my head ever so slightly.
She hadn't told me her name stating 'some thing are better to remain a mystery', not that I believe her. Her name can't be that awful.
"What are you reading this week," she asks gesturing to my newly adopted book.
"Magnus Chase," I smile at her, "It's incredibly addicting."
"Like meth," she giggles.
"No, not like meth," I chuckle, "Like your smile."
She turns a brilliant shad of red, her cheeks aflame in an adorable blush.
"Thanks," she mumbles, looking away from my direction.
"It was only a simple compliment," I begin, "I could supply a bigillion more if you asked."
She flushes even brighter at my not-so-subtle flirting. She looks at me, eye to eye, she's practically racking my brain with one glance. I can feel the heat rising in my cheeks, turning them cherry red against my tan skin.
The rest of the afternoon is filled with a quiet, yet comfortable silence.
Ebony's P.O.V
As I make my way home from the library I can't help but smile at the thought of Book Boy. He's so sweet and nerdy, he makes being a bookworm fun. Him and his little library draw me out of my dark, angsty, hiding place.
Walking down the back street that leads to my hidden home, I stare at the at the scenery. It's dark and gloomy, but its beauty is within making the moment you find the hidden beauty even better.
I bet Book Boy would say something sappy like 'oh this flower is just like you grim on the outside, but, beautiful within', or something dum like that. That boy is the definition of sappy and dum; his entirety is just sappy and dum, but a good sappy and dum.
Like a sweet and caring sappy and dum. A sappy and Dum I've fallen in love with. Unfortunately in love with love. My heart races wild as I think about my undying love. Undying like my parents literal undying love.
AN, So so so sorry for the late update, but I was really busy with my Fanfiction.net account. Review and Enjoy!!!
