The tight spandex was uncomfortable but it sure as hell looked good. I needed to look good in order to make my debut as Dark Star the super villain. "Ha ha! That stupid Hero Academy stands no chance." The black of the suit was very slimming and fit the curves of my body almost too well. The orange accents, the trim and inside of the cape, matched my hair to a T. A bright fiery orange and red, standing out so nice against the dark black. The cape fell to the middle of my calfs, not too long and not too short, just right; it fitted seamlessly at my shoulders and continued the level of epicness and doom to my outfit.

"I look menacing as hell." As I was admiring my new look in the mirror the TV caught my attention, the news woman was on site somewhere downtown talking about the Hero Academy. They were there right behind her, smiling and waving to the crowd surrounding them. "Tsk!" Oh how I despised that whole organization and what they were doing to these kid and making them feel good about it. Anyways, this was my time. With that I spun from the TV and headed out onto the balcony, stepping off the edge without hesitation. I took flight just before making contact with the pavement below. The wind blew through my long hair as I wound my way through the busy streets and towering skyscrapers of the city. My destination was only a short while away. Soon, I thought, I'll get my chance.

I took landing on a balcony up above the event, I could see the individual "Heros" and scrunched my face in disgust. It wasn't long before I was found out and I saw one of the girls glide through the air and land before me, her hands engulfed in flames. The flames matched the color of my hair, ironic. She looked pissed but not enough that it showed, she was trying to keep a stern face, one of a hero.

"You think you can just waltz through the streets and nobody would notice?" She was threatening but not convincing. To add emphasis the flames on her hands grew bigger, licking their way up her arms almost touching her shoulders. Good thing her outfit was sleeveless, and hopefully fireproof. A grin grew on her face and her confidence proved that she had done this before. I opened my mouth spreading a wicked toothy grin and without warning she was shot back, away from the building. The fiery girl appeared again, with shock on her face, her confidence melted and her anger growing. Oh how pleasant is this! I just loved making them feel like fools. She started to blast fireballs at me, easily I deflected them, a sort of force field you might say protecting me. "It's not over yet, Lava Girl." Instantly I saw more rage on her face and I just laughed, her response and attitude reminding me of a toddler.

"My name is Lyra."
