Ocean Eyes

Midnight Conversations

...kept me frozen so i stared into his Ocean Eyes forever.

"Zoe?" he asked me "You okay there?"

"Oh um yeah" i said quickly standing up and wiping away the remaining tears and then Corbyn Came in

"Hey Daniel you find her yet?" he said but realizing he already did "Zoe whats wrong?"

"Nothing" i said which he knew was a lie but before he could question me i walked out of the room. Everyone was still there and Val was still arguing with Liz and i could tell she was getting really fed up. I saw Jonah and walked over to where he was siting on his phone and sat next to him.

"There you are sorry this thing didn't work out." 

"Its fine"

"You look like you need a piece of cake" he said getting up and holding out his hand 

"I really do" i chuckled as we went over to the kitchen. The house started to get quieter so i guess Val got them to leave. Jonah cut me and him a slice and we sat back down on the couch and were soon joined by everyone else. 

"The kids at your school suck" Zach said "I had to change my shirt 3 times and one guy messed up my hair!" we all laughed because that was what he was concerned about when the whole place was trashed. 

"David is gonna kill us" Jack said as he started to get up in clean and then we all got up to help.

"Tunes anyone" Jonah said and all of us yelled Yes. Surprisingly  cleaning while dancing makes it go by so much faster and much quicker.  At one point we were all just jamming out to baby by Justin Bieber and at the end of the song we all were on the floor laughing. 

"Nice dance movie Zoe" Zach said 

"Oh be quiet" I said throwing the wet towel at him

"Movie anyone" Daniel said grabbing the remote. We all joined together on the couch. Jack,Val, Zach and Jonah were on the floor. Me,Corbyn and Daniel sat on the couch. The movie started and only 30 minutes i was asleep. Meanwhile this conversation happened...

"Awe look at those two" Zach said pointing at Val and Jack cuddling

"Look at them" Jonah said laughing at me who fell asleep on Daniels shoulder while he fell asleep too. 

"Man, I wish Christina was here so i could cuddle her" Corbyn said slumping on the couch

"At least you have a girlfriend" Zach said to Corbyn

"It's OK Zach i will cuddle you" Jonah said 

By the time i woke up it was 11 and everyone was still asleep. I tried making my way through the clump of bodies without waking anyone up.  I got to the kitchen and grabbed my phone. Surprisingly my mom hasn't texted me to come home so i decided to text her that i was sleeping at Val's because i had a feeling we were staying the night. I knew she wouldn't find out that i was lying because she had a night shift today.  I walked back to the living room and sat back in my spot but i couldn't bring myself back to sleep.  I sat there thinking...

"Hey.." Daniel whispered 

"Oh sorry did i wake you" i whispered back

"No it just got cold so i was going to grab a blanket and i saw you thinking"  

"Oh i said" 

"one sec" he said getting up and grabbing a couple of blankets. He put one on Zach and Jonah, Jack and Val, Corbyn and then he had only one left.

"Share?" he whispered and i nodded. I got under the blanket and he joined me "So what were you thinking about?" he asked me 

"Nothing" i said but he quickly knew that i was asking and gave  me a look where i had to tell him the truth "Fine, i was thinking about what i would do after college" i lied

"Any Ideas" he asked 

"I don't Know even if i knew i would need a huge scholarship" i said resting my head on his shoulder again

"I bet you would get a scholarship, your smart not to mention beautiful" he said 

"Did you just call me beautiful?" i aksed

"Are you not?" he said looking down at me and i stayed quiet so he did to.  After a while we both fell asleep again.  When i woke up again everyone was awake except Daniel. I reached for my phone  and my mom still hasn't texted but i figured i should get home before my siblings woke up.  

"Hey guys i think i am gonna go"  I told everyone as i grabbed my things 

"One sec let me grab my things" Val said and We said bye and headed to my car

"Uh Zoe you need to see this"  Val said
