Niki The Jet Chambers (a mighty ducks story)

"MY LIFE WITH THE CONWAYS" ch.1

My name is Niki Chambers and let me just get this out of the way, I have a very short temper and am very sarcastic all the time. Oh and I cuss a lot. Anyway, here's a little about me, I live In Minneapolis Minnesota with my mom's best friend Casey Conway and her son Charlie.
I would live with my parents but my mom is dead and my dad is in jail for killing her.
Yeah I know I seam harsh right now, talking about my dead mother like it's nothing, but it is. Just no one knows it.
The thing is, that my dad murder my mom right in front of me. Of course I was little and don't remember what their daily fight was about, one image stuck in my head. My mom's life less body in the ground my dad now lying on the couch passed out drunk, me screaming my head of as she lay still, eyes open, with a red pool of blood flooding around her blonde hair.
I still had flashbacks about it even though it was 6 years ago.
I'm 11 turning 12 next week. Much to my dismay my hockey team's fist game is that day too.
Oh yeah! I forgot to tell you, me and Charlie play hockey for District 5, Casey told me my mom played hockey and figure skated since she was 2 and that my mom wanted me too have the same experience so I've been skating since I could walk, and have been playing hockey since I was 9.
Me Charlie and Casey live in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. Casey has one room and me and Charlie share the 2nd, and we have our own bathroom.
Connie Moreau was my best friend. She's also on my hockey team. She's had this thing for another one of our teammates, since she met him in 4th grade!
