Niki The Jet Chambers (a mighty ducks story)

"WE MADE THE PLAYOFFS!" Ch.6

We started practicing even harder. Bombay added a new player to the team. I have seen him around school and he has some classes with me and the team. His name is Fulton Reed.
He has this amazing shot. Like mine, it went through the net. But his wasn't that good at aiming.
We had finally won a game!
And the next!
And the next!!
And the next!!
It was the game that determined if we made the playoffs or not.
I was taking face off while Charlie was on my right and Fulton was on my left. Connie was behind me on my right playing defense and Guy was on my left, Goldberg omg goal like usual.
The game was tied 3:3 with 50 seconds left on the clock.
As soon as the puck hit the ground everything seemed to go in slow motion.
I got the puck and passed it back to Connie. She skated up a few feet then passed it to Guy who passed it to Fulton who passed it to Charlie. Fulton and me by his sides trucking everyone who came close too him. He shot the puck from just outside the blue line. It hit the goalpost and bounced back. Charlie wasn't in a position to get it though and Fulton hadn't realized what happened yet.
I realized I was going to have to shoot it.
I took the puck got into position because people were still a good ways behind me, I had 10 seconds left before I had to shoot it.
The sooner the better I thought.
Everything went even slower from then.
I pulled back my arm and swing my stick.
I hit the puck as hard as I could then closed my eyes.
Only opening them when I heard the buzzer.
My eyes shot open and I looked at the goal.
I goalie was on the other side of the goal. Crouched.
I looked at the net and saw that it was ripped open and the puck was on the other side. It made a dent in the boards on the other side of the net.
I stood there shocked. Not moving a muscle.
When my team realized what happened they all jumped from the bench and lifted me on their shoulders, cheering.
Bombay screaming at the top of his lungs,
"WE MADE THE PLAYOFFS!"
