Mystery, a thing that never was fully understood, and never will. Questions are the fragments of mystery. Some fragments are decoded, and some are lost in time. The meaning of life has never been fully understood. How the universe was made, can never be fully truth. So why do we ask these questions? If we realize how big we are, why do we ask the things that make us feel small? Maybe, we were never here to begin with. Maybe, nothing exists at all, and this is all a part of our imagination.
Luke regained consciousness. He lay on the ground, tired. His aqua eyes fluttered opened, still empty of energy. His black glasses were cracked, and they seemed to have some dirt on them. His vision transitioned from blurry to clear and back. He moved his eyes, looking around the area. "W-What?" He sounded like a 17-year-old boy, but seemed to have lived lifetimes, full of wisdom.
The entire area was pure white. There were no scratches, no dirt, no metal, no shadows, no light sources, no red, no blue, no other colors or objects except pure white. Luke sat up, and his black hair fell down. He looked at his hands. They seemed to be fine, but there was a cut on his right.
He looked down at himself. He was wearing a black pinstripe suit, with a blue and red striped tie. The suit looked worn, and had traces of dirt on it. Luke reached up and onto his head, and pulled down some of his hair. It had a tint of navy blue.
He let go, and took off his glasses. His vision stopped blurring up. "Well, that's a relief. I thought I had permanent eye damage. But that would've been unlikely anyway." He set the pair of glasses in his pocket.
He looked around, "so, what am I dealing with today?" He started rubbing his hands together, mischievously. "Did something trap me inside of the void? That would be unfortunate." He had a relieved face, "I didn't bring my knitting kit."
He walked around. His footsteps didn't echo at all. "So I assume this place is infinite in size? That would be physically impossible, but then again, the universe is unending. But that's a whole other thing of infinity. This place at least has a floor. Which, speaking of."
Luke kneeled down and touched the floor. The floor had a smooth feel, but the temperature was at one hundred percent neutral. It wasn't cold, nor warm. "Huh. Now that's something you don't see every day. Or rather feel every day."
Luke heard a thump behind him, and he immediately turned around. What seemed to be infinite before became a dome. He stepped, and his footstep echoed. "So this place went from a size unfathomable to most beings to being a dome. That is very odd." He then heard a noise that sounded like gears turning.
He turned to the source, and saw a door. It was Blue and Purple, with a golden doorknob. He ran over to it. "Oh that is so very interesting." He grabbed the golden doorknob. "Well, let's open you up, shall we?" He attempted to turn the knob, but it didn't budge. He looked at it confused, and a bit disgusted. "C'mon then, move." He tried again and again, but with seemingly no success.
"You are just full of disappointment, aren't you?"
He let go, and stepped back. He then sniffed. "What the-." He sniffed again, "is something burning?" He shrugged, "doesn't smell as burned as my brother's cooking." He turned his head, and saw a pile of sticks.
"Oh, this is getting rather sticky, now isn't it?"
He ran over and kneeled down. "You smell burning, but where's the fi-." Suddenly, a giant flame burst out of the pile of sticks, and Luke was blown away, and landed onto his back. He struggled to sit up, "that's just fantastic, isn't it?"
The pile of sticks started burning faster and faster, as more smoke filled the white dome. "Oh, that's good." He said sarcastically. He seemed to have an idea. He immediately stood up. "I really hope I'm not right about this. Mostly because I'm left handed. AGH." Luke facepalmed himself, "Luke, this is not the time for jokes."
