Kindergarten Girlfriend (Ram x Martha fanfic [MODERN AU])

Lunch Time

"Bbrrrriiinnnngggg"
The bell rang. Ms Fleming dismissed us. I spotted Martha getting up from her desk in the corner and once everyone was gone, I walked up to her. "Hey, Martha," I said as I hovered over her, "Can you... follow me? I just need to chat with you." She blushed. Shit, she's adorable. "Uh... Sure!" She grabbed her stuff and quickly paced towards me. I walked down the stairs, looking back just to make sure she was still with me. As I got closer to the bathroom, I said: "Yeah, we're gonna have to talk in the bathroom stall because that's the only private place here. You alright going in the mens?" She looked surprised I said that for a second, but then she realised she had already told me she was biologically a guy in kindergarten. We finally got there and I took her hand and we stepped inside the stall. She locked the door as soon as we both got in.

"First of all, I- I just want to... apologise. For everything." I said as I looked down at the floor, refusing to let myself cry. "What do you mean?" She said, confused. "I mean, about dumping you in kindergarten and being a dick. I realise now that that was a huge mistake." I blurted out, looking up at her. Tears formed in her eyes and I started to tear up, too. "You don't need to apologize, Ram. I forgive you.  I... uh... nevermind. I forgive you, that's all." She looked away, blushing even more as a tear dropped down here cheek. "But that's not the whole reason I wanted to talk with you. I've been keeping my eye on you for a month or two now and... I know you've probably already moved on but..." I stepped towards her, held her hand and looked in her eyes, "I love you. I really do." Her eyes widened as she blushed even harder then before. Fuck, Ram. You were too direct. Before I could even reply, though, she pulled me in and kissed me. That kiss felt like an eternity, but in a good way. Butterflies in my stomach were going crazy as she kissed me slowly. It wasn't a simple peck on the lips, either. It was a deep kiss. Her soft, fluffy lips against mine felt so good. Her arms around my neck tightened as she brought me in deeper and deeper into the kiss. It was amazing. We pulled away, both panting. She put her forehead on mine and said with a giggle "I love you too, ya dingus." Her giggle was so cute as she said that I couldn't help but squeal. She got out her pen and held out my hand and wrote a number. HER number. With a little heart next to it. "Call me." She said as she kissed me on the lips again just a peck this time.

"How the-" Lunch time was over already? Martha looked at her watch. "Looks like I was kissing you for 55  minutes straight!" Martha said with a smirk. She unlocked the door and turned to look at me one last time, "See ya later, sweetie!"
