In a matter of seconds - about 2 seconds, to be exact - I have found myself falling for you. Didn't matter who you were, nor did it matter what you do - because whatever it is that you did do - it led to me falling, and I couldn't stop.
Everything paused, the flickering lights stopped flickering and just became lights. As if to purposefully let me witness the beauty, that is you, walk through the rectangular frame of the door. As if to paint a perfectly drawn out image, to be hanged in my mind's walls.
Locked in my seat in the first row, though one of the seats farthest from the door, I had the best view of you. Near enough to let my eyes, with the aid of my glasses, see you in detail. The fringes falling across your forehead, freckles populating your cheeks, eyes resembling deep dark pearls I can fall into-
Which I did.
Far enough to not let you see the mess that is me through your peripheral vision as your eyes locked on one of my classmates whom I assume you know well. It's a shame that I'm not close to that person because now I have no way of knowing you.
Do I?
If I approached, would you entertain the thought of having a conversation with me? Or will I end up looking creepy? What do I even say? How would I insert myself into your world? - that is if you would even let me. Would you? Would you entertain the thought of, not only having a conversation with me but also, falling together with me?
Now I'm just getting ahead of myself. But am I nowhere near getting close to you.
And as your conversations were coming to a close, I can't even manage myself to move from my position. I just watched as you, and probably the only chance I had to making you aware of my existence, walked away.
