"why does he always carry a notebook?" namjoon whispered, nudging yoongi's arm.

"he never learned sign language. he didn't like it, he writes as a form of communication. it's more difficult but he likes it more that way," yoongi whispered back, quite harshly.

"okay, gosh," namjoon huffed in slight annoyance and crossed his arms over his chest, looking over at yoongi, "why are we being quiet? jimin can't hear, right?"

"it's good, you're loud either way," yoongi chuckled as he closed his eyes and rested his head back, a teasing smirk plastered on his features.

"hey!" namjoon complained, hitting the side of yoongi's arm.

"ow! what the fu—"

"yoongi, i just got a message from jimin's father. he wants to know how he's doing," yoongi's body guard spoke as he eyed jimin's sleeping body.

"oh um," he hesitated, looking at jimin's small body curled up in his seat, "he's doing great. we'll arrive pretty.. soon? he's great," he retorted, nervously scratching the back of his neck. his security guard nodded and quickly left their sight.

"that was something," namjoon laughed in a teasing manner.

"shut up," yoongi glared at him, his glare suddenly turning into an expression of wonder, "and i saw you hitting it up with a reporter, i believe it was? at the airport?"

"oh, that was seokjin. he kind of.. got my attention."

"mhm, i could see that."

"but yoongi, can i ask you something?" namjoon quietly spoke, his voice so soft and tender, as if he were talking to a baby.

"what is it?"

"why.. why jimin? why a fan? specifically, why this fan?"

"namjoon," he laughed softly, turning his head to face him, "he's been here ever since i started making music, this is the most i can do to repay him. it's not because he's deaf, it's because my music has been there for him and now, it's not. because it's not, i, as a person, should be there for him. i need to repay him," he smiled fondly as his eyes slowly closed shut and his arm wrapped around jimin's sleeping body.

"your heart is made of gold, yoongi. it really is."

"and so is yours, namjoon, so is yours."
