"What's a bunch of little kids doing in this dark alley?" A man near the back asked, throwing his cigarette on the floor and stomping on it. Three of them stood in a row, blocking us from escaping. While the fourth man stood close to us.

"Tell me, little girl..." The man puts a finger under my chin and forces me to look at him. " Where is your money?" His snake-like eyes shimmered.

I gulped and looked down at the knife in his hands. I thought about casting a spell. But that knife was too close to me.

Sasha opened her mouth to scream. But another man sprang forward and pressed a knife to her throat. "Don't even think about screaming for help." He laughed. "Or I'll slit that perfect throat of yours." Tears rolled down her cheeks as she shut her eyes tightly. He steps back a little but still kept the knife near her.

"Now, give us all of your money, and you'll walk out of here alive." The man said to me.

I gritted my teeth. "We don't have any!"

"Bullsh*t!" He cursed. "Don't think we don't know who you are." He slams his fist into the wall behind me. And bends down so his face was inches from mine. "You guys those spoiled little brats from Starlight."

He thinks we're from Starlight?

"You think you have the perfect little life!" He screamed. I shut my eyes, holding back tears. "Why don't you share some with us?" He tugged at my pockets. "Come on, show me where the money is."

"And let us have some fun with these pretty girls huh?" The two men in the back grabbed Crystal and Sasha forcefully by their wrists. They tried to yank away, but the men were too strong. Crystal tried to use her powers, but she couldn't with her hands held in place.

The guy close to me looked over and laughed at the girls struggling to get away. Taking his attention away from me for a second. I used this as a chance and kicked him where the sun doesn't shine.

He jumped back. "Ow!" He screamed in pain. "You little--"

He didn't get to finish his sentence. Will shifted into wolf form and pounced on him. Knocking him to the ground.

The man struggled to get up but he was pinned down by him. The other men stood there stunned.

I waved my hands in the air. Causing a bunch of snakes to fall on top of them.

They screamed as they slapped at the snakes, trying to get them off. Letting go of Sasha and Crystal, letting them fall to the ground.

One ran towards us. His eyes filled with anger as he raised his knife above his head. Flames threw a fireball at him, and his entire body burst into a cloud of flaming orange. He dropped to the floor screaming and rolling.

"Arggggggh!" The man under Will screamed as he tried to roll over. But it was too late...

Will sank his sharp fangs into the struggling man's throat and he let out a toe-curling scream. After a few seconds, he stopped moving and fell limp.

The other men gasped as they watched him die on the floor. Blood pouring out of his injured throat. "They're villains!" One screamed. "Run!"

And they all sprinted away with the snakes still on them. Leaving behind the body of their friend on the cold cement floor. Will turned back to human and wiped away the blood on his face.

"Guys we gotta go!" I yelled. "Come on!" I pulled Crystal and Sasha up from the floor. They were both too shaken up to move on their own. "Can you guys get up?" I asked holding onto both of them.

"Yeah...I think." Crystal lets go of me and steady herself. Sasha grabs our bag of lunch and got up too.

I spotted Storm sitting cross-legged on the floor. Her lips quivered and her eyes watery. I ran to her. "No No No, Storm please don't cry okay?" I squat down and put my hands on her shoulders. "We can't have any more rain." I stared up at the sky, I can already see the rain clouds gathering.
