with a fake smile
when everything feels empty

of being happy.
It's called pretending
and what you're doing now,
assuming.

She's smiling
doesn't mean that she's happy.
If she did,
you can see it in her eyes,
gleaming.

Right now hers
are just dull and empty.
They are void of emotions,
reflecting how dead,
her soul is.

She's tired of faking.
