Requested by an anon on curious cat: Sinb is Jungkook's babysitter because Namjoon doesn't trust him alone in the dorm...

I chose to reverse the roles, hope you'll like it. This is all fluff even though the title (that I really like btw) could suggest the contrary ;)

How did I end up here?

Sinb sighed for the hundredth time as she was wondering why she was spending her Saturday night at Jungkook's flat.

Actually she knew exactly the reason why. Her dear brother decided to ground her because of an "incident" at school where she caused a bit of trouble. Sinb wasn't allowed to go out on weekends for two weeks. Everything was peaceful until Namjoon called her brother to go out one evening. His brother wanting to give a good example and act like a "real" big brother for once, didn't want to leave his little sister alone without anyone watching her. Not that he was worried for her but more because he was scared she'll cause trouble again. So Namjoon had a brilliant idea and suggested to bring her at their place so that his roommate could keep her company.

Right, you couldn't quite call Jungkook a company. The boy paid absolutely no attention to her as he was busy playing games locked up in his room. She could hear him shout or curse from times to times while Sinb remained bored, on the couch in the living room. It has been exactly two hours and fifteen minutes since her brother and Namjoon left for the movies.

She felt kind of hurt being treated like a child and having Jungkook as her babysitter even though he was only one year older. They have known each other for many years now because of her brother and Namjoon's friendship. However, they weren't very close, she would just greet him quickly whenever he'd show up at school. However, after all these years, Sinb had to admit the boy really changed from what she remembered of him: he used to be very shy and silent, very far from the heartbreaker that he is now. All the girls from school were falling for him, giving him gifts during lunch break and waiting for him at the end of every classes... but oddly enough, Jungkook never dated anyone.

At 10pm, Sinb decided the videos of cute dogs she spent hours watching wasn't distracting her anymore.

"JUNGKOOK I'M HUNGRY" the girl screamed as she made her way to the kitchen opening the fridge which was pretty empty except for a few vegetables and eggs here and there.

...

"Guess I'll have to cook for myself" Sinb said rolling her sleeves up. Her brother would usually take care of all the cooking but she wasn't expecting Jungkook to make dinner for her anytime soon.

After some trouble, Sinb managed to cut an onion and one thing led to another...

"AISHHH!!!!"

Sinb screamed loudly enough for Jungkook to hear through his headphones. He quickly jumped and went out of his room to find Sinb sitting on the kitchen's floor, pouting and holding her finger.

"What the hell?" the young boy said with wide eyes when he saw the mess that was now the kitchen.

"I'm bleediinnnnggg" Sinb whined childishly.

"What? Let me see" Jungkook bends down to look closely at her finger.

"Aish, you really are clumsy. You shouldn't be nowhere near a kitchen nor a knife" And with these words Jungkook left the room, leaving Sinb speechless.

She couldn't believe it. He really just got here to say these words and leave like this? "Is he going to let me die on my own? This bastard-"

"The bastard is going to put a band aid on your cut so shut up and stay still."

Sinb instantly became quiet as Jungkook grabbed her hand. The girl bit her lower lips, instantly regretting saying her thoughts out loud. 

As the boy began to apply disinfectant on her cut, she realised she never really paid attention to Jungkook's features before... And now that his face was so close to her she couldn't help but stare... his long lashes, his cute nose, and his soft lips that were slightly parted showing his bunny teeth...

"Falling for me already?" Jungkook said still focused on Sinb's finger.

"E-excuse me?" Sinb said in a whisper, realising she had been holding her breath until now.

"I didn't even make any moves on you yet and you're already blushing... Who knew Hwang Sinb would have a heart? I must be so charming aigo" Jungkook tilted his head to the side, pretending to be in deep thoughts.

"Get that cocky smile off of your face" Sinb stood up trying to brush her hands from Jungkook but he wouldn't let go of her fingers.

Sinb's sudden flustered attitude made the boy even more amused by the situation.

"You seriously need to stop staring at me" Jungkook said glancing at Sinb over his shoulder. The girl was cutely resting her head on her hand, patiently waiting for him to finish cooking.

"I'm just impressed at your cooking skills! And this pink bunny apron suits you very well I must say" Sinb teased, a devilish smile on her face.

"I know right, there's a lot of things you don't know about me Hwang Eunbi" Jungkook chuckled

When Namjoon and Sinb's brother came home they weren't expecting the sight in front of them:  Sinb and Jungkook had dozed off on the couch, the girl had her head on Jungkook's shoulder while he was resting on hers. Both of them still had their video games controller in their hands as the tv was still on.

"Aren't they SO CUTE?" Namjoon smiled brightly showing his dimples. Not hearing any answer, he looked to his side and saw Sinb's brother approaching the two kids.

"Ya, take your hands off of my little sister!"

Namjoon quickly grabbed his friend's arm and pulled him back "Hey let them sleep, they're on the couch it's alright! I'll drop Sinb back tomorrow if you want"

As the brother was not convinced, Namjoon added "Jungkook is a nice boy, look he even cooked, he made her his special dish". Indeed the 2 men noticed the remaining that were still on the table in front of them. Fried rice with eggs and ramyun.

"I knew he had a thing for Sinb but I didn't know she could make him this soft..." Namjoon mumbled more for himself.

"What did you say?"

"Huh nothing" Namjoon chuckled, tapping his friend's shoulder. "Let's go"

"I hope he'll stop being soft or I'll smash his head"
